Laboratory Escape (Literate RP)

Okay, sorry it's literate, but I hate trying to decipher text talk. And I realize there is an already existing RP like this, but it's not the same.

You were raised in a laboratory. Now you've escaped. You step into the fresh air for the first time in your life and realize that you don't know how to take care of yourself. Others stand beside you, gazing in wonder at the sun, the trees, the water. Some kneel and begin to cry, others stand. Some have been enhanced, others can shift. But you all have one thing in common: you have escaped. You will meet your foes, but you will find unexpected friends along the way. You can go it alone, or form groups and work together to thrive.

Rules--
1. You can have up to two characters, but only one can shift or be enhanced.
2. There will be death. If your character dies and you whine, you will be removed from the RP and will not have the chance to create another charrie.
3. All other site rules apply here.
4. No god-modding or dodging everything.
5. Shifters can have up to five forms, not including human, and enhanced people can have five enhancements.
6. If your character dies, you may create a new one.
7. One person can have the one who sets the Experiments free, and they can have three characters because that person doesn't come in until later.

As soon as Cecelia set foot outside the gaping door, she began to transform wildly. First fox, then dragon, then wolf, then cat, then kestrel, back and forth. Despite the uncomfortable jerking sensation, she purred with pleasure. Now, finally, after twelve years, she knew what she was. They had always told her she could shift, but they never told her what she could shift into. Now she did. And she could leave.
Cecelia shifted into dragon form and flew off. Suddenly she realized something: She could have a goal; a purpose. Automatically she found her first one, and that goal was to find whomever set the Experiments free and thank them.
She also realized she was flying. She never knew how to fly, and yet here she was, in the sky, feathery wings outspread. It was amazing how easily things you never knew come to you when you discover something new about yourself.

Appearance: Redish orange with a hint of yellow on the ends, golden hawk-like eyes with bright yellow speckles, pale, almost white skin, stands at an average height of 4'9, somewhat skinny from a small lack of food and has British-like cheek bones. Wears beigh colored jeans, scarlet red tank-top and dirty yellow sneakers.
Shift appearance: Just a normal Phoenix with long feathers that can catch fire when she is angered. Normal red fox with red on the tips of her tail, ears and toes.
Sibling: None.

@whitefire Your welcome. And I forgot to mention in Angelina's form, her nails and the tips of her hair can also catch fire since she shifts into a phoenix but it cannot harm her. (Since it's her fire.) ^^'

Angelina stepped out onto the strange green spikes and was amazed by how it felt, moist, cold yet kind of uncomfortable.
She suddenly changed to a phoenix, then a fox, and back to herself.

Angelina kept on shifting for a few seconds, but finally decided her phoenix form and flapped her wings, taking flight into this new world the scientists had never spoken of.
The breezes were almost the same as the green spikes, yet less uncomfortable and the sky seemed so welcoming with all of it's fullness, but the thing really caught the shifter's eye was a bright, almost white circle high above her, seemingly giving off a light that she'd never seen before, brighter then the lights in the laborator, brighter then the fire that comes from her hair and her fingers, brighter then anything.

Angelina wanted to keep on staring at the circular thing but it seemed it hurt her eyes to stare at it, so she stopped and looked ahead of her but suddenly-
BAM!
She accidentally ran into a dragon she could have sworn was a shifter since she was flying away from the lab.
"Sorry!" Angelina apologized when she caught her balance again.

@Misty No, not quite, because there aren't people after you 24/7. They don't send anybody after you, but if you happen to run into somebody from them, then they can take you back. Plus, these characters are allowed to have their own lives, set goals, go to school and stuff. I can change it up a little, if you want.

"It's okay," Cecelia replied. "I assume you escaped from the laboratory, too?"

@Misty Ah, okay. I had my chinchillas out the other night and was thinking and suddenly I just randomly saw (in my mind) an animal-like girl with another beside her getting bullied, and the regular girl who was with her shifted into a dragon and killed the bully, so I randomly made this RP.

@Misty I think I'm going to make a human when more people join. Honestly I'm surprised nobody's chosen to be enhanced. They could have wings, or cat ears/tail... Wonder why.

This is my first roleplay after a rather long hiatus so bear with me if my writing gets a little rusty.

@whitefire Oh.. I would have made a character enhanced but I didn't really know what a character enhanced meant and looked like. o_o

Angelina nodded at the dragon with her feathered head and closed her eyes with pleasure when the cold breeze flowed through her feathers and cooled her almost always warm body.
She opened her eyes again.
"Oh! Well, bye." Angelina said quickly and flew towards something tall with see-through squares that seemingly reflected the bright circular orb.

After a while of flying, Angelina finally got to the strange tall thing and was surprised to see millions of them, some short and some very tall, some with words on them Angelina was told about but never knew what that actually was, and some with a few of the see-through material and some with many.

Angelina saw a somewhat tall skinny gray thing and decided to land on it.
She suddenly heard the people who were everyone stop and gasp, Angelina looked over at them and noticed they were staring at her as if she were a million dollars.

@CandyLuver6789 An enhanced character is like a character with some features of the animal whose genes were implanted in them, like Maximum Ride has bird wings. Another example would be like a human with cat ears and a cat's tail and claws. Some don't show the features at all; they just have some traits.

Cecelia cocked her head and watched the Phoenix disappear into the distance and decided to follow her. She landed near to the Phoenix and looked at the gathering crowd of staring eyes.
"What?" she growled in a voice completely human. She watched in confusion as they scattered like ants fleeing humans.
Cecelia backed up, ears twitching, and transformed into a cat. She meowed convincingly and scampered behind the Phoenix.

Angelina stared when the crowd gasped again and jumped back when a cat suddenly came up behind her.
"Why're you staring?" said Angelina in English yet with a slight hawk-like noise.
"It's a fire bird! A phoenix that can talk!" gasped a man, stepping out from the crowd and pointing at Angelina.

The shifter suddenly heard a loud beeping sound and a box like thing on dark gray spinning circular material going through the crowd when they stepped out of the way and halted, Angelina saw two people come out of doors that was probably an exit for the thing and two more people come from doors on the back with strange netted sticks.

Angelina watched them closely and interestingly as they walked up to the tall thing she was on and got out something that made strange cawing-like noises.
"What is that?" said Angelina, tilting her head and staring at it as if it were an amazing artifact.
"This thing can speak English!" gasped the man with the netted stick and looked pretty dumb.
"C'mon, Leon, let's just get the stupid bird and go back to the lab-"
"LAB!?" screeched Angelina and the tips of her feathers catched fire, her eyes glowed bright red and the people jumped back, terrified.

@CandyLuver6789 Well, Cecelia landed on a tree near to her and slid behind her on the branch.

At the sound of the word "lab," Cecelia switched back to dragon immediately and dove angrily from the tree.
"Touch us and we'll kill you," she growled menacingly. "A lab is where we were not five minutes ago, and we refuse to go back."
She lashed her tail furiously from side to side, then pointed the sharpened end at one of the scientists. She would stab him. She would cut him to bits and drop the pieces on the roof of the laboratory. She would not be taken away.
"Right?" Cecelia said to the Phoenix.

"Correct." cawed Angelina loudly and ragefully, glaring sharp daggers at the men.
She flew down to the man with the netted stick and ripped the net easily with her sharp beak, her fire so close to the man he jumped back.

Suddenly Cecelia's rage was replaced by weariness.
"Come on, we should just get out of here or something," she said to the Phoenix, "I'm bone tired. And I don't feel like killing people."
With that she took off and transformed to a kestrel in midair. She wheeled about, not wanting to leave her Phoenix friend behind. If she wanted to fight, then Cecelia would too, but right now she just wanted to sleep.

Tusamia walked out into the land outside and shighed as she streched and started to shift her form. When she reached a dragon she flew into the air as she let the wind blow on her scales. She went in for a land near a small forest like area.
