So it's 4 in the morning. Earlier tonight, someone knocked on my door but was gone when I opened it. I just shrugged it off as my imagination or a prank. But then later there were footsteps on my deck, banging on my window and my dog was barking. Definitely not in my head. So I called the police, the local number, and told the lady what was happening and she said 'what do you want me to do?' I responded that I'd like someone to check it out. (I'm an 18 year old girl living on her own for the first time. I'm going to be freaked!) She asked me to make sure my doors and windows were locked and to call back if anything happened. Of course, something else happened. A rock came flying in through my window. So I called back and she said, and I quote, 'I guess I can send someone to check it out.' Get this. It took nearly 45 minutes. 45 minutes for them to come here. The rock going through the window could have been someone breaking in. DX And they took 45 minutes. The station is a ten minute drive away. They came here and looked at the glass and the rock and said. 'Well there's nothing we can do.' And left. That's it. What? Am I wrong for expecting a little more? So now it's 4 am and I'm sitting here freaked and fuming. End rant. Sorry about that. XD

@april__ O.O AND THEY DID NOTHING? D: Those poops. *Please excuse le 13 year old word xD*
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 7:16 AM
@bluenattyWell. They walked around the property and nothing else happened in the 45 minutes it took them to get here. But I'm still annoyed. Especially with them acting like it was nothing. Maybe it eems minor to you but I'm freaking out and I have a right to do so. DX
bluenatty • 28 October 2012 at 7:19 AM
@april__ Yeah, you do. I bet they though it was a prank *rolls eyes* Thats freaky. MY friend Julia, I was at her house, and someone started knocking on her window, like tapping on it O.O in the middle of the night D:

@april___Oh my gosh keep your dog inside with you, that's so not right how they just left and said that they couldn't do anything. I mean its' almost like they didn't even bother to check, perhaps they thought of it as a prank, but that's not funny. I understand you're by yourself so Like I said the dog stays in the house, and if you can call a friend over I'd do that, or any nearby neighbor?
tralala22 • 28 October 2012 at 7:21 AM
@april__That's freaky!
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 7:21 AM
@bluenatty It's some prank though. My window smashed. I was in the room. I wonder if they'd have done something if I got hurt but the rock hit the floor but at the same time the glass was shattering and it was so weird to see. Halloween is coming up. But it's 4 in the morning. I'm too freaked to sleep now. So what do I do? Distract myself with eggcave. XDAnd that is freaky. Did you ever find out who it was?
bluenatty • 28 October 2012 at 7:24 AM
@april__ I have a suspision it was her ex-boyfriend xD Hes just a nerd who lives nearby, hes harmless but a little bit creepy xD I would punch myself in the arm and call them saying another rock came in and it hit me 😋 Eggcave is very calming 😸
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 7:27 AM
@bluenatty XD Now every time I hear a noise I'm all on high alert... XD@ladyrhea I've sent my mum/dad a bunch of texts and calls. But they must be sleeping. I bet they're going to call as soon as they wake up all. "WHAT!?" But no. It's freaky because I live on 10 acres of nothing. No neighbours close by. And I don't want to walk over anywhere due to the bears and mountain lions around here. It takes over one minute to drive down the drive way. It's so long. So if someone's here. O.O They've gone well out of their way to get here. It's not just like a neighbourhood. Middle of nowhere. But once it gets light out, I'll feel safe... I think. XD@tralala22 It is. DX

@april__Oh my gosh I thought you lived where there's lots of neighbors around. That sounds a little more freaky now that your on 10 acres with just land around. It's almost daylight soon and it's just a few mins more till sunrise you should feel much safer then. But my question is do ppl know where you live?
tralala22 • 28 October 2012 at 7:30 AM
@april__My advice: Don't panic, and leave some scary stuff toy on the front door so those bad people sneaking in will be scared. (It works!!)
Deleted • 28 October 2012 at 7:32 AM
@april__Leave all the lights on in your house till it gets daylight so you can see everything around you. I feel much safer with lights on espeically when we tend to get blackouts during storms.
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 7:40 AM
@ladyrhea Not many people do. It won't be daylight here for about three hours. But it's been quiet. Although, it's windy and a branch hit one of my windows and I freaked. XD We actually had a Tsunami warning last night, speaking of storms. Luckily nothing happened. Though, a couple cities/towns on the island I live on were evacuated. Apparently there was an earthquake not too far away. @tralala22 I don't actually think they're sneaking in. I feel they would have done it by now. I do think it is a prank, or just for fun. But it's still... Bleh. Sorry for my randomness. Saying things and typing makes me feel less anxious. XD "Just try and kidnap me! I'm on EggCave. I must feed!" Oh. That'd be weird.

@april__Where do you live? I thought you were in the US there's a storm they're calling it FrankenStorm Sandy that's about to arrive on the East Coast, don't know how that's gonna turn out, it;'s so huge that you can see it on satellite image and it's over 2,000 miles wide and it already hit the Caribbean and will travel up the coast. I've been watching and looking on updates on it.
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 7:47 AM
@ladyrhea I live in Canada. =D It's going on five for me now.

@april__Oh ok wasn't sure where you were from your description I thought you lived on an island. It's getting to be a bit colder now it's that time of season. Our mornings are quite chilly at times. Last year it was just cold, but it didn't snow. Not sure if we'll have snow this year.
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 8:04 AM
@ladyrhea I anticipate we'll have snow. We always have snow. And yes. It's a largeish island. I love winter. Hate the snow. Love the cold. =D

@april__ OMG! what type of breed your dog is?
stellie • 28 October 2012 at 8:52 PM
@APRIL__Well thats what the police are like, there really is nothing u can do to make them care more, thats the stupid freakin police, That happened to my mom last year with a diffrent case. She called and complained to the town
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 9:12 PM
@sarafina She's just a tiny little pomeranian. @stellie Ugh. We live in a small town. And they're always just sitting around and going to parties and such. Well, stopping parties you know. But... So I don't see why they... ugh. XD
Deleted • 28 October 2012 at 9:16 PM
@april__So how are you now? Much better I hope, sorry I didn't get to write back I was doing lots of stuff this morning. Aww a lil pomeranian those dogs are so cute with their poofy fur😊 I think you need a bigger dog so nobody messes with your property. Did you find anything weird like footprints around? Just wondering since whoever it was that threw the rock got away.
april__ • 28 October 2012 at 9:21 PM
@ladyrhea I went out today. Whoever it was also smashed my car window. I don't know how I didn't hear that, and there's scratches on my car. I'm annoyed and the lady told me to go to the station tomorrow. Okay. Aggravated. But, I boarded up my window. XD
Deleted • 28 October 2012 at 9:25 PM
@april__Wow that's weird you didn't even hear them crash your car window? Usually there'd be a loud crash if you're smashing thru those. Scratches, sounds almost like it's a wild animal running loose like literally. I can imagine a huge cat like creature that lives where you live. But it's not the kind of thing that they'd do, so you're case sounds weirder by the minute. Aww, and now you'll also have to get your car window fixed. What did your parents say about all this? They must've freaked out, maybe you should stay at their place for a while till this is over.
april__ • 29 October 2012 at 1:50 PM
@ladyrhea I didn't hear no, but I also was listening to music and only turned it off when I began hearing noises on the deck. And a lot of hte noises I dismissed as wild animals, since we get a lot around here. I haven't actually spoken to my parents. Things must be pretty busy. I think it should all be okay now, so I'm not too worried.
angelwolfeh • 29 October 2012 at 2:13 PM
@april__Aww, poor you. I know how it feels. We were burgled when I was 8. We all thought that it was next door moving furniture. Took my cross necklace and I was scared that vampires might get me XD. But I saw my mums jewelry box open. She usually has it in a high place. She thought that I got it, but then realized I wasn't the taller person than I am now. So then we got burgled. I can't tell you how happy I was that they didn't steal my MCR CD. It's my life. Apart my family. If he/her hurt my family, I would honestly go *facepalm* then fall to the floor. But the police tried their best to help. And also, I snore, so when they came into my bro's room (I was scared so I slept with my bro. He's the best ❤️. Wuv you bro.), they got scared because of it XD. Lol, but really, I hope your safe.

@april__Slenderman at work here....--XD Just kidding, but maybe there is someone...watching through your broken window...24/7.
angelwolfeh • 29 October 2012 at 2:57 PM
@hayzWHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT XD?
