I know a lot of people trade in EC for CC or sometimes it can be the opposite. So I decided to convert. I will add more, this is for people that's confused. I'm sure everything below is accurate, I will eventually add more to the list.EC | CC
liza200aa • 28 October 2012 at 7:03 PM
@fakeworldI agree. Finding other people who want to trade CC with you can be hard and annoying sometimes.
chowchow2012 • 28 October 2012 at 7:55 PM
@fakeworld I don't agree with this the point of CC is to be bought this is defeating the purpose also then everyone could save their EC some users have quite a lot sorry! it's just that maybe ian would stop making money from CC and eggcave would be shut down.

Edit: It appears that I've posted under the wrong assumptions. My apologies. xD

I thought this was a value guide, not a suggestion. O_O
fakeworld • 28 October 2012 at 11:07 PM
@colette I know right, lol.
chibidarkness • 29 October 2012 at 12:34 AM
@chowchow2012I don't agree with that. I'm pretty sure EggCave won't be shut down just because Ian doesn't profit from CC. Eggcave used to not have CC for around a year I think, and it went well. Plus, how exactly can Ian use his whole CC profits (which is without saying, a lot) just to run an adoptable site like this? Eggcave also run A LOT from adds, there are adds on the side and up the page, so this already helps maintain the website. Eggcave is also a "child" site, as it has a mother site, Bumpwire. The mother site helps maintain the child site also Ian also runs The Daily Neopet website. So yeah...I think CC is just a way of earning pocket money for the developers, not that I am against the idea. π

@fakeworld It's nice to have a place to convert but different people trade for different values π Also, Ian doesn't approve of CC being traded, much less a converter for x -> CC.@chowchow2012 Keep in mind that CC is an OPTIONAL part of Egg Cave, therefore Ian can probably manage without people paying for CC.
fakeworld • 30 October 2012 at 11:12 AM
@karamel @chibidarkness @chowchow2012 @liza200aa Why are you guys agreeing on? This is not a suggestion, this is a guide thread.
karamel • 30 October 2012 at 11:13 AM
@fakeworld I'm commenting on your guide. And I was also replying to @chowchow2012.What I'm saying is I don't think we should have this thread because there are different opinions on values, etc and that Ian doesn't approve on trading CC anyway.Just my opinion though.
faybaybay • 30 October 2012 at 12:48 PM
I dont think this is very accurate because the values of EC to CC change, it was 250CC for 1 mil just a little while ago, and before that 500CC for 1 mil, now its 100CC for 1 mil. Its always changing & there is no set price really.
liza200aa • 30 October 2012 at 12:51 PM
@fakeworldoops! It seems I accidently thought this was in the suggestions thread π sorry about that.
boxofcrayons • 30 October 2012 at 12:53 PM
@fakeworldI don't think you can really set values like this. I used to deal in a fair amount of CC, and what I'd trade it for was very changeable. Sorry :/ but I just don't think this is accurate.
seaangel • 30 October 2012 at 1:04 PM
@fakeworld Like, most of the people hear, I agree with them. I trade CC, but sometimes it's for different amounts that I think is fair, meaning it's not always for EC. CC is never accurate.

@fakeworld This has been suggested so many times. I was one of them. This simply couldnt happen, people who bought lots otf CC (or even just a little) would get incredibly mad.
icymuffin • 30 October 2012 at 3:27 PM
Hmm.I'm not sure if it would be completely accurate or not, but perhaps you could compare CC to silver or other metals. One day its value could be at, say, $25 when two weeks later it's $31 and then another week after that it's $19.One week a lot of people will offer more than other for various reasons like how much Cc is UFT or who's trading. So yeah. Basically I personally think it would be hard to say "This is how much you should be paying" :ISorry if this is totally not relevant~ 8D
whitefire • 30 October 2012 at 3:34 PM
@Tear ...This is a guide thread, not a suggestion...
despair • 30 October 2012 at 3:39 PM
Why does almost EVERYONE think this is a Suggestion? *Rolleyes*
whitefire • 30 October 2012 at 3:41 PM
@Despair My point exactly. Look at the FORUM NAME!!!
despair • 30 October 2012 at 3:42 PM
@whitefire Maybe some people just skimmed through itπ
whitefire • 30 October 2012 at 3:43 PM
@Despair Yeah, probably...
icymuffin • 30 October 2012 at 4:01 PM
The wording makes it look like a suggestion? Derp.Second, even if it wasn't a suggestion, it can't apply to every trade.
whitefall • 30 October 2012 at 4:13 PM
Well, the EC value is constantly going to up. ^^Because more EC is made with feeding. And CC is value is going down technically, because the values are the same, 500CC for $5, but the government is constantly minting more money.So.... what I'm trying to say is that this table is not 100% accurate and will always change. xD Also, it just depends on the situation.
derpyhooves666 • 30 October 2012 at 5:28 PM
I also don't think ONE person can go and make a guide and decided what is work how much.
karamel • 31 October 2012 at 6:35 AM
Ditto @derpyhooves666.@despair@whitefireWe're COMMENTING and VOICING OUR OPINION on the guide. What we're saying is that we don't like the idea of a guide being made - values are constantly changing, and in addition, Ian doesn't approve of CC trading. You're not exactly helping by saying that CC is worth this EXACT amount of "x".As I've said on post 8 + 10 of this topic already.
-starfire- • 31 October 2012 at 7:56 AM
@fakeworldgood idea, but put it into the suggestions thread.
hoppingfrenzy • 31 October 2012 at 8:21 AM
No...the point of CC is to help to support the site. Being able to just convert it from something we get for free defeats the point. The opposite might work though. CC to EC for all those people who complain that they don't have enough.
whitefire • 31 October 2012 at 3:24 PM
@-StarFire- It's not a suggestion; it's a guide.
-starfire- • 31 October 2012 at 3:43 PM
@whitefirei just realized it was kind of telling people how to do it X3 fail me
whitefire • 31 October 2012 at 3:45 PM
@-StarFire- No, he's telling us how much EC is needed to get a specific amount of CC in a trade.
