In real life, not on EC.

So, who is your role model and why? If it is somebody personal, you don't have to give their name (for the sake of privacy), you can give them a nickname (like how I call my BFF "Moo" on here).

My role model is Dr. Ben Carson, the neurosurgeon who attempted and successfully separated the Binder twins and saved both lives. He is my role model, cause he proved even though something seems possible that it is possible if you try. And he is also my role model because I want to be a neurosurgeon when I grow up, and he is an amazing one!

Hmmm.... well if Gandhi and Jane Goodall were morphed into one person, then that would be my role model XD

@whispers

I don't actually have a role model.

There's no one I look up to.

I just try to base my decisions, and choices off of my morals and what I believe is right.

I motivate myself to go towards my goals, and don't really look up to anyone.

I'm weird that way. O.O

@whispers

HAS to be Gerad Way. Just looked him up on Wikipedia, and realized he was an intern for Cartoon Network after he was kicked out of a band (HOW DARE THEY KICK MY GERRY OUT :U!!!!!! *Rage mode*), and he likes art (LIKE ME), and is lead singer in the band MCR (My Chemical Romance). I wanna be a rock band singer too ❤️. I'm in the choir as well BTW).

From Wiki = but when he was not successful (one band kicking him out due to his lack of skill with the guitar), he chose to concentrate on his art career.

Gerad Way, ❤️

(sorry, got over excited then. XD)

Uhhhh, the list is quite large.

Pardis Sabeti and Karl Iagnemma: They show that science and art can co-exist. I have a tiny crush on both of them, and yes, even Ms. Sabeti.

E.O. Wilson: Ever since my high school bio teacher introduced me to his work junior year, I've been so fascinated by him. Listening to him speak is like listening to a grandparent tell you a story of their life. He is so passionate about his work. I want to be like this some day.

Barbara McClintock: Omg, this woman was awesome. She has this almost Katniss edge to her I guess. Just looking at a picture of her makes me want to give her a high-five!

E.B. White: He was everything I aspire to be as a writer and as a person--humble, articulate, concise, and sensitive.

Vladimir Nabokov: He collected butterflies! And wrote! Yeah!

Ray Bradbury: I remember when I read the first few essays in his Zen of Writing book, how he said he cried after he finished writing his story "The Lake" (my favorite short story by him, btw) because he'd felt "he finally had become a writer." I couldn't agree more.

Also, people I know in real life:

My older cousin: She may be impulsive and have a bit of an attitude at times, but I think it definitely works to her advantage! She is smart, strong, and assertive.

My Biology teacher from junior year of high school: He was so passionate about everything he taught, and he was the one who introduced me to E.O. Wilson. I'd love to talk to him again some day.
