"Hey! Wait up!" Storm called, and hurried after Pipit and Esytha.

Even though things were getting a bit out of had, what with Zelda and everyone else wondering who the heck she was, Storm was quite happy. Being a part of her favorite game? Probably the best thing that ever happened.

Storm wondered if she would help Link on his quest as she skipped along.

When they arrived, they ran in, and..... Esytha opened the window. She escaped out of it, hoping to watch the Wing Ceremony. She watched the whole walkthrough on Skyward Sword. Link surely was a better flyer than her. She ran quickly back to where Zix was, unsure of what to do now. Watching the Wing Ceremony was best.

Esytha suddenly felt the urge to stop watching the wing ceremony and stupidly run around Skyloft in search of a library. In which, she does. Even though she knows there are no libraries in Skyloft, she runs around like the total idiot she is. Yeah, she can solve any puzzle you throw at her. But sometimes she is just plain stupid. Afterwards, she goes over to Zix. "Watcha doing?" She asks.

Storm ran inside, and to keep appearences, she went to the bathroom. Afterwards, she smiled and thanked Pipit a bit sheepishly, and left for the Wing Ceremony.

The flyers were absolutly amazing. Storm wished that she could do that. But who was she kidding? She didn't even have a Loftwing.

Cassie waved to Zelda as she walked away before turning around again to observe the Wing Ceremony. Link, Groose, Cawlin and Stritch were zipping around the sky in pursuit of the gold Loftwing statue. Since she already knew Link was going to win, it wasn't much of a race to watch. She let her thoughts wander but stayed with the crowd in an effort to blend in.

Every citizen of Skyloft had a Loftwing. Since she and her friends were Skyloftian now, did that mean they would get Loftwings too? Her eyes widened at this thought. As soon as the Wing Ceremony was over, she'd take whoever wanted to go with her and run down to the goddess statue. That was where people met their Loftwings, right?

Actually, right after the Wing Ceremony was still a bad time, she realized with a slight frown. Link would be practicing with the Sailcloth then, and she couldn't interrupt.

So, what was there to do? Cassie had often imagined all the fun she'd have running around Skyloft, but now that she had an opportunity, her mind was blank. Maybe one of the others had an idea. "Hey," she started to say, and then she realized that nearly all her friends had already run off. "Huh?"

Zix turned towards the Wing Ceremony, watching as Link nearly got the Golden Loftwing Statue, but ended up getting hit by one of the three jerk's eggs; she didn't know who threw it.
She was getting slightly over excited again, even though she knew what was going to happen.

"Wow.." she murmured under her breath and sat down on the grass by a tombstone, leaning her back aganist it like a chair. She knew Link could fly, but not this good. It had always been her controlling him, but now that they were in-game and watching the hero...
It was amazing. Even though they could perhaps die in the game, she felt amazing. Like never before.
She took in a deep breath and let out a sigh, enjoying the fresh air, cool breezes and warm sun of Skyloft.

Zix opened her eyes just in time to see Link catch Zelda on his bird, then fly away towards the Goddess Statue.
She smiled lightly and walked back over to her friends, standing next to Cassie.
"Do you want to go over to the Goddess statue with me later and.. meet our Loftwings?"

Cassie was startled out of her own thoughts by the sound of loud cheering. Link had nabbed the golden statue, solidifying his win. She herself began to clap and cheer, watching as he winged his way over toward the goddess statue.

She jumped when Zix spoke up. When had she come back? "Y-yeah," she replied, laughing slightly in embarrassment. "I was just thinking the same thing. But we should probably wait until all the Wing Ceremony stuff is over."

Now that the competition had ended, the crowd was beginning to separate. Cassie watched the townspeople walk away and tried to name each of them in her head.

"We could go check out the Bazaar in the meantime," she offered.

@seaangel Well, everyone met Zelda and Esytha had to hide Prince, her cat, then go into the Knight Academy to pretend to go to the bathroom, then everyone kind of split up but now their all together again and the Wing Ceremony just ended. *In a rush. >.>*

"And when does the Bazaar open again? Isn't it closed the whole time Link is a citizan and only opens when he offically becomes a Skyloft knight?" said Zix, her eyebrow raising a bit at the confusion.

Cassie resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Zix was just being Zix. "Dunno'," she replied with a shrug of shoulders. "I never tried going into the Bazaar during that whole thing. I guess if we can't do that, we can at least get familiar with the townspeople?"

"HOLD ON." Esytha said. "I just thought of a plan...." She said. "The Bazaar has to be open so they could make money, right? We'll buy some paint, paint Prince to look like one of those creatures that look like cats and are super cute and are pets in Skyloft. Then I assume the game has converted all the money we were currently carrying into rupees, based on how much money we had. We'll run out, hopefully get a loftwing, AND I WANT A BLUE ONE." She said waaaaaaaay too fast. "Just follow the plan, and we'll be a-okay!" She said, smiling.

Zix grinned a bit and nodded her head, knowing where to go first whenever the two lovebirds were done and not really paying any attention to Cassie.
She ran away and threw her hand up into the air, signaling that she was waving a later with the back of her hand.

The teenager finally got to her destination, the Goddess Statue.
She peaked in to see Link accidentally plant his face into the ground, holding back a giggle as he groaned.
She quickly hid as he called his bird and flew back up there, then tried again to finally do it correctly.

Zix hid behind the stone wall again and waited for the two to finish, yawning quietly with how fast she had been running a few minutes ago.
After a short while, they both left and she looked out once again, then ran over to the circle. She felt like she was going to explode with excitment, and was almost in slow-motion as she picked her legs up and put them down again onto the circle.
She looked up into the sky and slightly shielded them from the sun's rays, hoping and waiting her Loftwing would come.
She waited, and waited, though through the minutes nothing happened.

The teenager was about to give up, but that was when she heard a caw. Was that someone else's, or was she just daydreaming? She looked up and saw nothing. She sighed once again, but when she turned around her purple eyes met big baby blue ones.

Zix yelped and jumped back, surprised someone was standing right behind her.
She closed her eyes, as if ready to get hit but only heard a loud caw. The teenager opened her eyes and wished she hadn't opened them.
Standing in front of her was a black Loftwing with a violet tail, the extra white feathers on it's wings bearing silver and the same violet, it's neck, cheeks and stomach being white as other Loftwings', it's beak and legs bearing a golden yellow but.. was something different?
She blinked and saw that it's claws and the tip of it's beak was a dark, almost black gray.
"That's strange.. I've never seen a purple Loftwing before. Especially one with black claws and a bit of black on it's beak. The thing is, are you a girl or boy?" she added, cautiously holding her hand out to the Loftwing, wondering if it was even her's.

Zix saw that the Loftwing hadn't moved as she ran her hand down it's head, a smile growing on her face that went up to her ears.
Her eyes sparkled at the sight of the Loftwing, her smile, if possible, growing even larger by the minute.
The Loftwing looked straight into her eyes as if saying, "Ride me right now.". She didn't hesitate and got onto it, the feeling of it's soft violet feathers soothing her as she put her arms around it's neck.

The violet Loftwing started to flap it's wings and, not before too long, took flight. This. Was. Amazing. The breezes were stronger as the huge bird soared through the skies, messing up Zix's hair but it didn't matter to her, the winds felt amazing aganist her skin.

Esytha looked up into the sky. Zix was flying a beautiful loftwing. "Wow.... I guess that means I should get one too!" She said, running to the goddess statue. Link almost hit the target, but eased slightly to the right at the last moment. Esytha sneaked behind a tree, and looked around. The coast was clear. She slid from tree to tree, watching. Suddenly,, she spotted a teal blue blur near one of the trees. It was lovely, a teal blue that glistened in the sun. Parts of the wings were white, like most loftwings had. It cawed, and spied her. The loftwing walked over to Esytha, and roach out to touh it's smooth yellow beak. It was all teal blue, exept for the white parts of the wings and the darker blue at the the end of the tail and near the end feathers of the head. The loftwing slightly nudged her shoulder, as if asking her to ride it. Esytha climbed onto the loftwing, and it lifted into the sky. Esytha was afraid of heights, but.... It wasn't so bad anymore. The loftwing flew very smoothly over Skyloft. Sometimes the loftwing would make a mistake and tilt a bit too much to the right, but hey. Everybody makes mistakes. The breeze ruffled her hair, and everything was clear and wonderful with her glasses.

Zix let out a breath of fresh air, her cheeks starting to hurt from the huge smile that could seemingly never go away.
She yelped when the violet Loftwing sped up, making her hold on a bit tighter. It's feathers bellowed in the wind.

The teenager felt as if she did this for an hour, although it was only minutes.
It was amazing! The feeling wouldn't wear off as the Loftwing did small swirls.
She was about to yell out with excitment, but saw Link and Zelda flying around together, making her smirk slightly.
She flew over to them and waved, but suddenly she felt her hair suddenly go crazy and her Loftwing cawed with a panicked tone. She looked ahead to see a.. black tornado!
"Oh dear.. I completely forgot.." she said and her eyes widened, remembering the part where Zelda got sucked in and landed on the ground.
She screamed as the tornado suddenly started hurling her in, making her shake slightly with a completely panicked look plastered on her face.

It happened. The tornado took her in and she could feel herself swirling in circles, making her sick slightly.
She screamed at the top of her lungs and felt tears leaking out of her eyes as she fell.. and fell.
The teen could feel something soft below her, was it her Loftwing? She never found out, as she fainted.

Esytha never wanted to stop, but saw the black tornado starting to form. She knew what would happen. She quickly came in for a landing and patted her loftwing's beak. She saw Zix, who was still flying. "ZIX!!!! LOOK OUT!!!" She screamed, but she was so high up she couldn't hear her. She ran to the others for help, but it was too late. The tornado pulled her in. Suddenly, like a flash of lightning, a black blur flew into the tornado. Esytha grew worried. The blur zoomed out of the tornado seconds later. It was her loftwing. Esytha cheered, and watched as the loftwing landed. It was so fast..... Zix was very lucky to have a fast loftwing.

"Remlits," Cassie corrected Esytha, trying to keep up with the girl's rapid speech. Something about the bazaar and paint? Most likely something she didn't want anything to do with. If anybody could cook up a harebrained scheme, it was certainly Esytha.

"So what do you thi-" she started to ask Zix, only to find that the other girl had disappeared yet again. So much for meeting at the Goddess Statue later. With a slight sigh, she took a chance to survey the scene yet again. Most of the townspeople had cleared away already. Groose, Cawlin and Stritch were still standing on the dive platform, lamenting their failure.

"I can't believe that jerk won!" Groose shouted. "He always has to ruin my chances with Zelda!"

"You said it," Cawlin muttered, half paying attention.

"I mean, all I need is a few minutes alone with her and she'll DEFINITELY want to go out with me! But Link is always getting in the way!"

Stritch nodded silently in sympathy. Cawlin was too busy watching Karane walk back to the Knight Academy. Cassie could barely keep the huge grin off her face--that is, until Groose seemed to notice her staring.

"And what do you think you're looking at?" he demanded. Her eyes went wide.

"Uh, the lighthouse?" she explained. "I'm almost never in Skyloft, so I'm just trying to, uh, soak up the sights?"

He stared at her for a long moment before smoothing his hair up. "You don't look familiar," he said skeptically, leering down at her.

"Nope!" she confirmed. "In fact I'm sure we've never met."

"Right," said, knitting his eyebrows.

"Yup! I'm Cassie. I live on one of those islands out there," she said, pointing out to one of the floating islands opposite the direction she had indicated to Zelda. "And I told my friend I would meet her somewhere, so, uh, gotta' go. Nice meeting you!"

Before he had a chance to reply, she dashed off, mentally kicking herself. "Yes, stare at the bully character," she sighed mentally. "That's a good idea."

Eventually, she made her way up to the Goddess Statue. She was just in time to see Zix take off on her purple Loftwing--so they did get birds! Her excitement was practically too much to contain. Zix's Loftwing had such glorious violet feathers, and Link's bright red bird had had her envious since the beginning.

"I'm here," she said in a small voice, walking out under the Goddess Statue. "Come on, Loftwing . . . " Within a few moments, a shadow passed directly over her. Cassie threw her head back to look into the sky, but under the glare from the sun, all she could see was the outline of a large bird. Her Loftwing! She shielded her eyes until it landed in a patch of shade underneath the statue.

It had big round eyes, a lively yellow beak, and . . . grey feathers. Grey. Like most Loftwings, its flight feathers were mostly white, and tipped with black and purple. /Grey./

Even in her excitement, it was thoroughly disappointing. She put on a bright smile for the Loftwing, holding out her hand as a signal to come closer. The bird took a few steps out into the sunlight, and her eyes widened. Like a pigeon's feathers, her Loftwing's were grey, but iridescent. They glowed green and purple as the sun bounced off them, shimmering brightly.

"Oh!" Cassie exclaimed. The Loftwing tilted its head to the side and let out a soft caw. She stood there, frozen in shock, before she began to laugh. The bird closed its eyes contentedly, and she threw her arms around its neck. Its sun-warmed feathers tickled her cheek.

"Let's fly!" she said, thinking of Zix and now of Esytha--a short ways off, the other girl had climbed onto her own teal blue Loftwing and taken off. Cassie's Loftwing nodded its head once sharply, before spreading its wings and taking off. Cassie stood there for a moment, dumbfounded. Had her Loftwing just left without her?

Over her head, the Loftwing cawed. It was circling above, while staring down expectantly. Suddenly, Cassie realized what she was supposed to do, and slapped her forehead with her palm. "Right," she mumbled, glancing around for a dive platform. "I just have to jump and whistle." She approached the nearest one and stared over the edge, seeing nothing but bare blue sky and a blanket of clouds. Yikes. If the bird didn't catch her, exactly how long would it take before she hit the ground?

"Just jump," she urged herself mentally. "Come on, Cassie. Jump!" She shifted her weight forward, into the balls of her feet, but suddenly tensed up. It felt like every Loftwing up above was staring down at her impatiently. Shaking that thought out of her head, she closed her eyes, bent her knees, and took a deep breath. "This probably isn't real anyway," she figured with a dreamy smile. With that last thought, she jumped from the platform and out into the open air.

The wind tore roughly at her clothes and hair, chilling her bare skin. Even that one second of free fall was too much; she stuck her fingers in her mouth and whistled shrilly. A caw sounded from up above as her Loftwing dropped into a dive. It swooped up from underneath her and caught her soundly before pumping its wings to gain altitude. She sat there for a moment with her arms around its neck, dazed, before she realized she was still 100% alive. Then, she started laughing.

"This is the best!" she cheered, though her words were lost to the rushing wind. Up ahead, she could see Zix on her purple bird. "Catch up," she urged her own, separating herself from the Loftwing's neck. The bird pulled out of its upward arc and into a dive, picking up speed. She was practically on top of Zix when the tornado pulled both of them right off their birds and down into the sky. Cassie could distinctly feel feathers slipping out from between her fingers before her head struck something, and it all went dark.

Zix's mind was blank and dark with unconsciousness, a black void swirling around her with a strange dream-like feeling.
Her eyes snapped open to look up into darkness, yet with millions of tiny diamonds shimmering like lights.
She looked around and sat up, but just for her to fall back down weakly. The teenager felt a pain throbbing inside of her back as if someone were stabbing her over and over again.
She tried once again to get up with no avail once again.

Zix groaned and closed her eyes, the tiny green spikes below her not helping at all with her pain and uncomfortable feelings.

Esytha couldn't take it. She. Was. Going. In. Apparently her loftwing only got pulled back in. Bummer. She jumped off the ledge, screamed a second, and whistled as loud as she could. Suddenly, her loftwing caught her. She let out a war cry, "SSSSSSSSSSSPPPPPAAAAAAARRRRTTTTTAAAA!!!!!!" She yelled while charging into the tornado at full speed. And..... that was the stupidest idea ever. Esytha could still feel her loftwing, clutching onto it tightly. Then everything went black.

Storm sighed as everyone left. She always missed everything. She decided that it was about time to get her loftwing, so she walked to the Goddess statue.

Suddenlt, there were screams and lots of loud cracks. 'The black tornado!' Storm thought, and ran to the side of the island just in time to see Zelda and Zix fall into it.

"Well, it's time to get my loftwing. I'll have an easier time getting down there to help Zix anyways." Storm murmured to herself, and stood before the statue.

Suddenly, she heard a loud caw behind her. She turned around, but saw nothing. Her eyebrows knit together as she saw something big move in the shadows of the trees.

"Come on out, I won't hurt you." Storm said quietly, watching the large creature in the shadows.

In a sudden flash of blackness, Storm's loftwing stood before her. The beatiful creature was jet-black, and had no white markings. Its wings were tipped with a deep red, and it had red rings around it's large, soft green eyes.

Storm reached out to it, and the loftwing put its head into her hand, closing its eyes. Storm smiled and leaped onto its back.

With a loud whoop from Storm, the loftwing rose into the air.

The feeling was amazing. It was like the realest flying dream, except Storm knew that this was real. The wind whipped through her short hair, and streaked past her ears, making loud whooshing sounds. Storm leaned forward, closing her eyes. This was the best feeling ever.

Storm sighed and opened her eyes. "I should go after them." She murmured, steering her loftwing towards the black tornado as it began to close. Suddenly, Storm was yanked from her loftwing by the winds, and thrown into the tornado. Instinctively, Storm reached for her loftwing, but it was too late, and Storm fell down. Everything went black.

Storm woke sometime later in a patch of overgrown, dewy grass. She sat up, but her head swam, so she laid back down for a bit. Feeling a bit better, Storm stood shakily and called for the others. "Zix!" She yelled, looking around, "Zelda?"
