Vicarious: live through someone else
Onus: Pity,Regret
Eschew: Avoid
Incandescence: Intensity, Heat
Opalescence: Pearly Colours
Amorphous: Structure without shape

I use them almost daily, so I guess they don't count.
I write stories.

Yeah, people give me strange looks sometimes too. I have a friend who is pleonastic with all of the stories he writes. I love what he does, he just uses his verbiage to an overabundance, you know?

@whispers - "rhythm" actually does have a vowel, just like "gym". The vowel is the 'y'. Its not typical for a word to have a vowel-y in its middle, but it occasionally happens.
