Iara's tail whisked over the soft ground and dragged a squirrel in front of her. It looked at her fearfully, but she just plucked a small berry from bush and dropped it in front of the brown creature. It snatched up the berry and ran away. Then she rolled back on her back and closed her eyes, enjoying the lovely warmth.
She lay like that for a moment, before getting up and shaking herself free of some grass. There wasn't anyway someone could feed itself by laying in the sun all day and night. So she looked up into the sky, the small patch she could see was beautiful. It would be better with her in it, so she launched her orange and pink body into the air, pointed straight up to avoid the tree tops.
Once she was in the sky, she saw something. Two dragons by a willow. Whatever. She shook herself free of it and swooped down through the trees to hunt.
The trees sometimes seemed constricting, uncomfortable, like they did all they could to make the dragon feel like she has big, and couldn't breathe very well, in hot, dry air. No, that was something else, but it was similar enough to make her uneasy most of the time. Those thoughts drifted away on the breeze that she suddenly smelled. it carried the scent of deer. Excellent, she would eat well.
An hour later, she lay sleeping, once again, basking in the sunlight. When she woke again, it the sun was setting. Oh drat! She took a deep breath. Well, she would be able to soar the night sky, alone, with only nocturnal animals below making her feel like she had company.
This time, her take-off was slower, more relaxed and lazy. Her eyes still noticed the two dragons by the willow, but she dragged them away. This night was hers, she thought as she soared peacefully through the sky.

@world Oh thats fine. Skink soon awoke to the noise of rushing water from the river. "Breakfast time...salmon and trout." Skink walked over to the other dragon, and silently walked by him to catch her food. @meixiaotian

Sunlight once again warmed her scales. Iara lifted her head and realized it was morning again. She stretched out like a wolf, then suddenly jumped off the cliff. The cliff overlooked the river, and since she had practically stuffed herself the last two days, she would probably just get some fish, maybe a rabbit if she felt like it. Her open wings slowly guided her down, and in a swift motion, she had one, speared by her talon. It was flipped off, onto the lush dirt, and cooked immediately.
Excellent. Her head reached forward to carry it back, when she remembered earlier a day. Some dragon had stolen another's fish. Instead, her mouth took a huge bite. Two bites, and it was gone, bones and all. The only thing left of it was a bit of burnt scales that couldn't survive the light dragon's flames.
Her scaled head looked up again. It seemed clear right now. She thought about lately. She hadn't been doing much, that's what happened during the colder months. Once again, she flew high into the air, up above the clouds. There weren't many, just some small innocent ones passing by. Small or not, they would do great. She attained even more height, then, when she felt some of the pressure become noticeable, she turned herself into a steep dive.
Her wings were spread out well, but they angled the ground, and did nothing to slow her descent downwards. A small cloud neared. Closer, closer, and, whoosh! She blew through it, and tilted her wings. A spurt of flame escaped in her exhilaration. Iara hadn't done this in a long time. Her tilting wings hurt a bit after the sudden turn, but she didn't mind it. Still holding the momentum, she shot upwards, again above the clouds. When her speed finally slowed, she flapped, righted herself, and looked below her. Clouds, forest, river, all below her. It felt great, she thought.

@meixiaotian Skink saw the dragon gliding along. It had a strange look in its eyes. "I wonder what that dragon thinks sometimes. I have not seen her for awhile. I wonder what her name is....." Skink fell into silence. She leaped into the sunlit sky, filled with thin, breezy clouds. As she flapped, pieces of snow and ice fell from her wings and skin. She grasped the trout she had caught in her hand, then ate it all at once. The blue and black horned dragon had been gone awhile. She hoped she was okay, wherever she was. "Ah, well. She is tough. She's fine. I should not worry." but it was hard not to worry. A sigh came from her blue muzzle, and her smile went into a pout. She glided to her rocky cave to spend the night.

Her eyes noticed another dragon, blue. Alright, well, maybe she could say hi. It would be rude to keep ignoring the other dragon. Well, if it was still there, right after she finished. She pushed herself even higher in the sky, higher than earlier. The pressure was annoying, but at least she had scales, unlike most creatures. She positioned herself again, and drove herself downwards.
Her wings were opened like before. Using her weight and wings, she set herself into a set of twirls, with fire blowing out in front of her. The fire just turned back to the orange head. When she blew through the cloud, a whole opened up, in it, from the flames.
She stopped spinning by opening her wings and thrusting her weight. Again, with the momentum, she did a huge loop in the air, and spiraled down in large circles. Finally, she went into another dive, straight at the river. Almost done, aandd... Right before she hit the water, she flared her wings out, and stopped quickly enough for her tail to cut through the water. She snarled at the pain from her wings, but it was alright, and easily ignored in a second.
She landed on the shore. She took a deep breath as she pulled her wings in. Her body was launched into the air once again, but this time, only to glide slowly back to her little cove.

Iara looked up at the voice. She had been staring at the slowly passing trees. It was the blue dragon. Feathered wings, interesting...
"Iara, yours?" She asked politely. She would have preferred to have the other tell her, it seemed like a her now, her name first, but, it didn't matter. There was no need to be extremely suspicious or cautious. This dragon had been one to steal a meal... She'd survive this one though, anyway.

@meixiaotian The dragon smiled, with kind eyes. "Skink's the name, fightin's my game. BUT I don't want to fight you. You are as gentle as a sheep." The dragon could not stop having a mysterious glitter in her eyes, and she looked back at the feathered wings. "Yeah, I know it is very unusual to have feathered wings, 'specially for a dragon." The dragon looked back, and smiled. It knew about the fish, Skink could see it in her eyes.

Damien woke up. It was fine day. Hot, but fine. He made little breeze around him to cold himself up.
Willow waved with her branches.
He rolled on backs and looked at the willow.
-I am hungry.- He said to it.
Willow waved with it's branches like it doesn't care at all.
-I must hunt, ha?- He said. His face turned sad. Too bad, it seemed like a fine day today.
Willow waved with it's branches little slower like it understands his sadness.
Damien got up, stretched and flied in the clouds of this island.

Under him there was a rabbit.
-Small bite, but still...-he said.
Rabbit didn't even saw Damien coming. Damien gust (hope I'm using good word now 😸) on rabbit and grab him for backs. Then he raise in the skies again.
Poor rabbit wiggle himself all the way back. Damien pretended like he doesn't care.
They finally came to the old willow. He lied down gently and put rabbit on the ground.
Rabbit was to tired and injured to ran.
Damien looked at him with pity. He couldn't kill this innocent creature.
Willow was waving with it's branches like it was saying 'You know what you must do.'
He couldn't. Damian closed his eyes and breath into rabbit. turquoise mist surrounded rabbit and wounds from Damien's hard claws started to heal. One by one.
After all of them healed Damien just lay on the ground and fall asleep.

Rabbit hopped away.

Damien woke up and rand from his weird dreams.
-I'll fly around the island a little.-He said to willow.
Willow didn't care. It was waving with its branches as always.

After half hour of flight he saw little dragon under him. He wanted to see whhat is that ting on his head so he flied lower, to the ground.

@world Carutu saw the big beast floating towards him. As always he stayed calm. Even if the dragon tried to kill him he would stay calm. But as soon as he saw the dragons wings his stopped and stared, he hadn't learnt to fly yet, because of only being small that was his weakness

Name: Ancient Moonbeam
Looks: Brightly colored scales, the color of sand, or some would say champagne. A moderately sized dragon with two horns on his head that curl back around. Quadrupedal with sharp talons and teeth.
Gender: Male
Personality: A jovial dragon that gets along with everybody. He doesn't disagree often but loves to spar and test his own strengths. He has trained quite a bit and is capable of using his powers.
Element: Light (Normally i use wind, but lets change this up!)
Abilities: I can call a solar flare to momentarily blind opponents. I can harness light and direct it fairly well. My best ability is to bend light around me, however if I move too fast or even at all sometimes the power fails for a moment and can open a weak spot in my defense.

I haven't posted in a while, so I might as well get back to the RP. 😋 :

Liza silently walked through the dense forest. She never really liked trees, they always blocked her way to the sky when it came to escaping in case something bad happened. Of course, what could go wrong? Liza laid down, spread her wings and looked around. A bubbling sound came from a nearby stream. The rustling of the trees relaxed her. And behind that, she could hear some other noise... what could it be?

@liza200aa As Skink walked along through the forest, she saw her best friend, Liza staring at the dark part of the forest. A strange noise was coming from the bush. Skink would attack. She began creeping silently through the brush, to attack the sound.

Moonbeam prowled through the brush, oblivious of the other dragons being anywhere nearby. He hadn't eat in quite a while and was ready for his next meal. He could see that the brushes came to an end and could hear something just outside them. He steadied himself and burst into the open with a mighty roar.
