This is great! Yes it does touch some subjects that may be rough for others, but it has great detail.

This is amazing, it has truly left me scrambling for words.
I feel that you really got the strong emotions down. Most people try to play with elements like these, but it usually borders on tacky.(Which is not the case here at all!)

This by far has got to be one of the best short stories I have read in a while. I really connected with Riley's feelings of loss, and grief. I have a very close family member who is going through cancer right now, so I can tell you that you have definitely captured all of the emotions very well.

Overall, it is well written, and I very much enjoyed reading it. I applaud you, your talent shines through your work.
