Not exactly new but my first intro

Hi, I've been here for a while but I don't think I ever introduced myself. I call myself Lafae. I'm an online creature collector/obsessinator who may be on a lot of sites, depending on my interest in them. Despite my lack of a home internet connection due to financial hardship, I am able to get online at school/work so I make an effort to hatch my eggs and keep them happy. Sometimes this doesn't work out since I spend my summers planting trees up north (away from internet access) and they usually end up dying. I live in Vancouver, Canada (hello all my fellow Canucks!) which is on the west coast (for those who don't know). I work 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday.

What I really love about this website are the colorful eggs and the large size of the pixels/artwork (not sure what the proper title is). I love the fun games (collecting the pumpkin seeds to get new creatures - this was great fun and should be used monthly for "special creatures money can't buy").

I'm a self-titled scatterbrain who flits from topic to topic, idea to idea, rarely making much sense to people around me. It's not personal; it's just the way my brain works (or doesn't work, as the case may be).

I love a variety of things - movies, reading, collecting things. My favs are S/F and/or fantasy.

Also, want to put a little bit in here wishing the East Coast well in the wake of Sandy. My thoughts and prayers are always with you and the family members I have in the area there.
