Hello again everyone ^^'

I quit eggcave some time ago, probably around spring-time, but I've come back to enjoy the wonderfulness of pixelated creatures and my eggcave buddies 8D

I'm sure some of you've seen me around,
but if this is the first time hearing from me, on here I usually go by Moo, Doll-san, Dolly, Liz or Mikuo ..(that's what people call me, otherwise you can call me anything you like)

I've also returned from the horror of no electricity due to Hurricane Sandy. ;_;
I'm in NY, my house hasn't gotten any damage (thank the heavens) but my car is destroyed. My mom drove the car through the flood (we were fleeing) car got stuck in the water, we all had to swim out of the car, until we got to a policeman who let us in his truck-- a tree snaps and falls on the windshield.

So yeah, I've been through so much but it's nothing compared to what the people in other areas have been through, the houses by the beach have been completed destroyed and it's just horrible.

But yeah! I'm back, expect to see me up and around the forums from now on.

Thats horrible what happened to your car! I would be pretty depressed if my car got destroyed. No electricity....I can't even imagine living a day without it.....

I kept a lot of expensive things in the car too, I kept my saddle in the trunk (didn't really have a place to keep it at home..)
just popped the trunk open and took it when I went riding. And then my mom had her camera, it was worth about $1000 dollars and a few other things.
When we got stuck in the flood, my mom left her purse in the car with all of her information and credit cards in it, none of us were thinking about it at the time. We found out it floated to some guy's basement and he generously gave it back to my mom with all of her stuff in it, money and everything.

Oh my gosh, we had to wait two weeks for the power to come on, it was terrible. The whole island had no power, and my neighborhood just got it turned on yesterday. It was so boring. I spent all that time reading in the dark with a flash light. xD

@unknownangels

Wow, you were lucky! I'm glad you and your family's okay too.

@doll

Welcome back! I hope you are doing alright. I live in NJ, so all we got here was a week without power and school was off during that time.

@marie_lily

Thanks! You were pretty lucky too. We had a lot of days off too,
and usually I'm so happy when that happens except there was nothing to do without the internet. XD
I'm glad you're okay. ^u^

@leafpoolz

I know! I'm so grateful, because then my mom would have had to deactivate her cards, get new ones and get a new license and everything else.
And wow. D8 That's horrible!
