How are clicks and views different?

I'm a little confused about the difference. Do you get a view if somebody clicks it? How do people get so many views on their creatures? @_@

I believe, if I'm correct...

Views are also counted if someone clicks your profile and sees all your creatures, or your featured will get views because people can see it on the forums. THey don't have to click it, they just have to see it.
