EEEEEEE!

So, as my status states, I am my school's president. It's a bittersweet feeling, though.
During the campaign week, I got really attached to my fellow canidates (there were two others excluding me), and it hurts me to see them upset when they lost. And, even though I won, and I'm super thankful, I can't help but feel something is missing.

Is it because they didn't win?
Or because they looked so sad?
I don't really know. But, to fix this, I've decided that tomorrow, I will personally go to the principal, and tell her what I want to do as my first idea.

One of the people I was running with, who almost had me in tears during his speech, had an amazing idea. There is a downed tree in our school garden. This tree was a tall and grand pine, and a huge part of my school's history. Our principal starting tearing up when she hear his idea:

(Quoted from him) "Our great pine, a big and now missing puzzle piece in [our school's] history, was taken down due to the hurricane. Many see this as a sad thing. However, I think we should plant another tree, and claim it to be a new beginning, a new era for [our school]."

Back to my idea: I decided that this is a beautiful idea, and I will get this kid and myself together, and I will have him lead this project. I want him to find a brand new tree, and I want him to start this new beginning of ours.

What do you think? Good idea of mine, or should I just maybe see what the school thinks about this idea by themselves?

@glazzie Ok! Well I know that like in elementary the pres really is just a symbol. Well at least for my school. Middle you get more of a say but in high you get the most.

Well, if to say I was in elementary, that's exactly what I'd be trying to alter.

I'm trying to do a couple of things to get myself recongized, respected, and most importantly: REMEMBERED!!!
