I feel like most kids list all these things they'll buy when they are older or things they'll do because their parents don't let them. xD

Well, I live in the US and in Florida, so I have the FCAT.

I had to do good on the FCAT. I got a perfect score (5) on reading and a 5 (missed ONE PROBLEM) on math. Got $30 for reading and $20 for math.

THEN, like 3-4 weeks ago, I played a game with my family and won the whole thing, got $20.

ALL TOGETHER: $70

All I had to do was resist impulse buying.

BTW I get NO allowance.

I do have my own money (not much, mind you)...just not a job at the moment😋 Hope to fix that over the summer, however.

Anyway, I spend my money on groceries for days I don't want to eat cafeteria food. And for Black Friday, I spent it on some of the sites I play (I feel bad saying that knowing I haven't donated to EC in a while, but there's just not anything I need at the moment and I am kind of broke after that splurge). I feel so dirty after doing things like that, but it just feels soooo good.

And I don't have a Paypal account, but I use my mom's. I give her my money and she lets me make the payment.

Seriously, though, I love buying my own groceries. I know it'll eventually grow to be a monotonous part of everyday life, but I'm enjoying it while it's still a perk of independence. I get to choose what I eat, what I buy, etc. Plus, I always have my card for eating on campus, but shopping for my own food is just so rewarding. My mom is even going to take me to get my own Giant Eagle's Advantage Card so I don't get ripped off.😋

Well, I'm a teen and I only have a job in the summer. But whenever I do get money or when I'm older ill probably buy:
Another Rottweiler ❤️ I already have one but..
A nice car
Maybe save up for college funds
The newest IPhone at that time period


And maybe that's it..once I'm older and have to pay bills/rent I'm not going to buy CC/online website currencies anymore.

@whitefall I save my money, doing various odd jobs for people and saving birthday money. I have about $250 saved up, but I don't know what to spend it on! (I have been saving for like, 3 years!

What drives me crazy is whenever I do a job for people I know, my mom is all like "It's not a job, you're doing a favour" and if I get payed, she makes me WALK to their house and return the money.

Things I want:

- Clothes

- COLLEGE

Being out of your parent's rule isn't as exciting as you may think. You have to get a good job to provide for yourself. They pay for pretty much everything of your's. I have to pay rent, car payment, electricity, water, gas. Everything. I'm SO lucky to have gotten a full scholarship to one of the best universities in the country. It sounds like you're going to waste your money. Idk how old you are, but you should start saving for these things now. I can't stress it enough

I get $10 every Wednesday. We get out early from school every Wednesday, so I go with a group of friends and we walk around town. We'll stop at CVS, walk to Whole Foods, go to Starbucks, and we'll visit any local areas. I usually buy a mocha Frappucino, and some sort of pastry, and then I save my leftover $2.

Every week now, I'm slowly saving up my money. I might find a nice jar to store my leftover cash in, so I have it for later on. The adult world is cutthroat. Even though I won't be a "teenager" until December 7th, I can only imagine how hard life is. College, renting a house, bills, jobs, keeping yourself ALIVE. At my house, we're barely doing that.
Let's just say... My life has been an emotional WRECK ever since I opened my eyes to the adolescent world. I don't have much experience with saving money, but I'm working on that. I need a God-given blessing to make it in this planet. My only advice is to dream big, but also save up. Ignore useless temptations and appreciate what you already have. If you've watched paper-thin love being shattered before your very eyes, you get... Very sensitive. >.>

I do get my own money but can't really buy anything I want. Only things I need.

Gas.
Repairs on my car.
Rent.
Bills.
Groceries.

I do have a bit to spare. I'd like to buy CC but for the life of me cannot get paypal to work with my bank. ☹️

What I'd like to buy?

Clothes. I have two shirts and two pairs of pants. I have no sweater, jacket or winter clothes.

I'd like to get my hair dyed again.
