Idea: Creature Badges?

I think we should increase the purchasing power of EC!

So far, the only things we can buy directly with EC is travels, alkub racing and Tims. We can use EC indirectly in trades for name changes, creatures and CC, etc. but that is it.

A badge option for creatures would be really awesome.
We could buy them with EC, and they would forever stay on our creatures profiles (like in the area where the freeze potion shows up, badges could be added). There could be a bunch a different badges that people could pick from.

Also, eggcave could make seasonal, and retired badges. So for instance, Christmas comes around, and you release a Christmas badge, and retire it after the new year holiday. Sort of like the travels. BUT unlike travels, you could have multiple badges, and have a creature that collects badges.

It could go something like this (just an idea):
50,000: Bronze Starter Badge
100,000 : Silver Basic Badge
250,000 : Gold Advanced badge
500,000: Platinum Seasonal/LE badge

*with multiple options for each category

This would benefit players because it gives them another item to spend their EC on, it encourages members to feed and earn EC, AND it also gives users a unique way to increase the value of their creature.

What does everyone think of this? I doubt it will happen, but, here's to hoping!

Besides, the amount of EC created everyday through feeding is way bigger than the amount "destroyed" (it's only destroyed when you buy travels, go to tim's or Alkub racing, when you trade for ec, you're merely transfering it to another user) so the inflation must be crazy and ec is worth less every day.
Wall of text aside, I would LOVE to give my creatures cute little badges ^^

@x_arya EXACTLY! The only way to get rid of EC is to do Tims or the travel agency, so you're totally right, there is a bunch of EC out there. O_O. Thanks for posting/helping. 😊

and maybe the creature could get badges by getting a freeze, 500 feeds, a star and more... 😊

but this would be a good way to spend my EC.XD

@neko-chan yeah that would be cool, as long as there are EC buyable ones. I'd be bummed if they were only bought with CC.

This sounds like a great idea, though I have to say I rather like having a lot of EC stockpiled as I can't get online to feed often.
I definitely think I'd end up hoarding badges for the creatures though, it would be awesome. 😊

This is a great idea! If the Badges had a purpose, like the creature's happiness dissapears slower or something like that, then people would want them more.
