So, I'm writing an essay to get a chance at the Ben Carson Scholarship. I have to write the essay based off a given prompt, and it has to be under 500 words, creative, and have age appropriate vocabulary. The prompt goes as follows:"Successful people dont have fewer problems. They have determined that nothing will stop them from going forward." -- Dr. Ben CarsonDescribe a time when you faced a problem and worked hard to overcome it. What did you learn from this experience?I am writing mine based on when I got my type 1 diabetes. And that due to the fact that I have diabetes caused other obstacles to rise in my life. Then am explaining how I overcame all the obstacles that were thrown at me, and what knowledge I received by being able to resolve these problems (well, the smaller ones). I think I'm going to have trouble keeping within the word limit though, any suggestions? And, is anybody else participating in this?

@whispers I love writing, in fact most people say I'm creative when it comes to literature. Before trying to jot down words, I would brainstorm; think before you actually put it down, create drafts. I am so happy for you, and wish you the best of luck. This is a great opportunity and this is something to seriously take a advantage of.

@fakeworld Okay, I'll make a couple drafts. It should help me catch my mistakes. Thank you, I will do the best of my ability 😃
