@mastermeppI saw The Hobbit and it was awesome.

@mastermepp I liked it ❤️.And I don't mind that it is being split into three. I needed another serial to keep me going. I've had serial films to look forward to since 2001, between LOTR and Harry Potter...And yes, Smaug is epic. So epic that you barely see him (not sarcasm). He is this looming figure so immense we've yet to see his whole.@cat And also Kili *is* highly attractive. He is Mitchell from Being Human (UK).I'm guessing whatever was added was in preparation for the additional plot points that will arise later. Personally I enjoyed Radagast the Brown.

@femme_gauche I know xD I find it hilarious xDDDDI LOVE Radagast the Brown! He was so cool xD I do like how they added additional things, strangely oWo It adds more depth to the plot C:

@mastermeppI saw it twice, once in 3D HFR on the day of the release and the second time as normal 2D. I'd have to say after watching the 3D HFR version the 2D one felt a little less engaging xD@meteoroidI disagree. I think PJ wanted to flesh out the story more, in the book many things weren't described in detail and I would really love to see what PJ comes up with for the next two! Also, I think that 2 hours and 50 minutes is rather long for a movie but his pacing was amazing and I hardly felt like any time passed at all. I live in NZ and I have to agree that the scenery IS amazing. Its funny I actually recognize many of the bushes and plants from the movie. xD

@mastermeppNo. He wasn't really in the hobbit much. But there will be a sequel, because the movie ended at about half-way through the actual book.

I did the same thing as @stellalunagirl, saw it on day of release in 3D high frame rate, then again later on in 2D. I must admit I preferred it much more the second time through, but that is largely due to the fact the sound quality was a little messed up the first time, and the 3D glasses started to hurt my nose. 😋I have no complaints about the length of the film, nor the fact it's split into 3. Really glad there's another trilogy to look forward to! I am ridiculously excited for Smaug. Literally cannot express just how eager I am to see more of him.I adored Fili and Kili so much. The scenery and soundtrack are outstanding.AND MARTIN FREEMAN WAS PERFECT AS BILBO.Ahh. I could talk about this for hours.
