I just got on a boat and it set sail, for I guess a new land? undiscovered area?" but we've been on this ship for a week, so we have to be somewhere near our destination, right?" David was pacing on the deck, getting worried that the boat was not even heading towards land, that we missed our destination.

''A NEW LAND'' She shouted get angrier.''WE COULD BE HERE FOR MONTHS?I HAVE THINGS TO DO.PLACES TO BE''She was pacing aswell,and fuming.Lainey put her hand up to her forehead,then she noticed tiny little claws.''Oh this is just great''She moaned showing her claws to David.Then there was some quiet ripping sounds.The back of her jacket was filled with holes and in those holes were brown spikes. They started off tiny then grew as big as her hand and then stopped growing.''What am I?A hedgehog!''

"Well, at least none of the other passengers will want to eat you, right? And ok, calm down, I'll go ask the captain when we'll be there. you should go talk to the other passengers and see what they know about all this. And I bet being a hedgehog won't be so bad, once you get used to it.." David walked over to the captain's cabin and opened the door. "Hello, anyone home?"

''IF IT WASN'T FOR THESE SPIKES I'D BE EATEN'' She shouted at his as he left.She took out her camera from her pocket and used it at a mirror.There were little ears sticking out from the sides of her head,a cute circular black nose,a spikey brown tail and sharp teeth.It only hit her there that spikes were growing out of her back.She squealed in pain and took off her coat.She pulled out an old tissue from her pocket and tried to stop the blood from flowing but there were so many spikes.She sat down trying to ignore the pain and took out her phone.There was nothing left to do but look up about hedgehogs.Her eyes widened as she looked at all of the different health issues she could get.Mites,Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome,Eye Troubles,Respiratory Infection.She sighed ''I hope I don't get these''.Her stomach rumbled.But she didn't want human food.She had a crave for berries,leaves and snails.

"Hello? where's the captain? who's steering the ship? no one seems to be here..." David found the captain's place empty. "DO YOU MEAN THAT WE'VE BEEN JUST AIMLESSLY DRIFTING ALONG WITH NO DRIVER THIS WHOLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!! NO WONDER IT'S BEEN TAKING SO LONG, WE WERN'T GOING ANYWHERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!"
