Frost yawned in the sunlight. It sounded like chaos closer to camp. Whatever. She had taken a break for the last day just to get away from the chaos. Then again, chaos sounded like she was needed. Great. Her lovely short nap on the warm beach, interrupted by some crazy thing. She groaned in annoyance, but got up all the same. The crazy noises seemed to have stopped, so she decided to stop by the hunting areas, and get a meal.
Her paws shifted through the loose sand as she lazily trotted to the forest. When she hit the hunting areas, she lifted her dark nose up into the air. A quick whiff told let her know her pack alphess was near. Great, now she had to go farther. She sighed and picked up the pace. She was nearing Cyan, but she would soon be deeper into the forest.

I sat down in the sand. "Phew...that was certainly a wake up call." I huffed. I stood up and looked towards kamikaze. She seemed okay, despite being thrown against a rock. "You okay?" I asked my second in command, heading over to get a closer observation.

I threw my head under her body so she wouldn't hit the hard ground again, further damaging her injury. "You don't seem okay..." I walked the rest of the way under her so she was on my back. I carried her to the healing den, letting her down as softly as I could.

Elloooo everybody!~

I woke up late in the morning, feeling the sun in my eyes. "Time to hunt..." I thought as my stomach felt emptier by the minute. A squirrel was nearby and I managed to catch it. After eating, I trotted around the forest and the beaches, curious of what was out there.

"You're welcome." I looked around for Frost, but could see she was out roaming the land for probably her own reasons. I looked over to Kamikaze again, "Stay here. I'll bring Frost back." Without another word, I ran out of the den and smelled for Frost's scent. It was near the hunting grounds, but I couldn't tell the exact location until I was close. I ran deep into the woods, towards Frost's general direction.

As Frost followed the trail of a rabbit, she smelled Kin. Oh what joy. She had gotten away from Cyan, but now there was another wolf coming. Well, she wasn't getting farther away, so might as well hurry up and get the rabbit. It was hiding cautiously in a bush, but the smell was still there, and Frost had been tracking it for a while. It wasn't going to get away.
She bared her teeth, showing them, and jumped loudly. The rabbit ran away from her. She landed right over it, but still running, the gray animal wasn't caught that easily. Excellent. She ran forward, her long, strong legs easily outdid her prey. Her open jaws lunged. The creature squirmed at first, but that wouldn't last long.

Kin jumped through the brush soon after she snagged the rabbit and stopped a few feet behind her. He could smell the scent of the rabbit, making his stomach growl and his mouth drool. He didn't realize how hungry he was. When did he last eat?

He shook the thought from his head, focusing back to what he came to Frost for in the first place. "You busy?" He asked, his body standing tall and tail still.

Frost lifted her head, and turned around to see Kin. What was it? Maybe that chaos she'd heard really was something she had to deal with. He didn't look panicked, though, so it couldn't be too bad. Good. She turned her whole body towards him, and shook her head. No way was she dropping the rabbit. She looked at him with eyes that plainly said: 'What?'

Frost noticed his eyes on the rabbit. She glared at him, then walked straight past him. A fight, huh? Something with her paw? Couldn't be too bad. Good thing she went hunting though. Her prey was getting cold, and she would take years getting to camp, with a packmate drooling over her catch like he had been, so she set herself into a quick run. She was fast. Always fast, so she got to camp in no time.

He watched the rabbit disappear as she whizzed past him. "I'll hunt. I'm hungry anyways." He grumbled, walking off into the woods to find food. Small prey will just have to do for today.

I followed the scent of prey when suddenly I heard voices. "More wolves?" I thought. I continued on. "Seems like a whole pack of 'em."
