Cut words?

Sometimes when I type a comment onto someone's wall, words get cut off. This only happens when its a long post however.
I know I typed the whole words out because I double-check what I type before I type it. Also, when I click "Post" I view the comment, and all the letters are there. But when I refresh and look at the same post, some letters/words are missing.

Yeah, this happens a lot to me too. It's been like this for a very, very long time D:
I wonder why it hasn't been fixed yet...

It says a number less than 140 characters & then when you post, last few occasionally gets cut off, right?

Yeah, that's what happens. It bugs me because then the person doesn't know what you're saying.

This happens to me all the time. Serves me right for always typing out long messages to people!

I usually just stop my message at about 130 characters, and write the rest (no matter how small) in a new comment. But it would be so helpful if it just let us write the full 140 in one comment without the worry of anything being cut off!

Does the whole letters getting cut off thing happen on the blog? I've yet to have it happen to me there. It tends to be just on profiles.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. This is never a problem in the blog, but it happens rather frequently on profiles. I wonder why there would be a difference :I

I THINK it happens when you type something like ')(*&^%$#@!' one of those somewhere in the message? It doesn't happen to me unless I do that.

Yeah, I've noticed its just on profiles.

I wasn't typing random symbols and some letters still disappeared D: I was typing an actual comprehensible sentence xD

This should be fixed! Sometimes I'm both even near the limit and it cuts me off 😸

@2elle2 I think what @keenfoot meant was that either one of those charcters, when typed (even only one of them) makes the message get cut off.
