@whitescales a poem contest....but I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DEW!!!!! I have prizes for first second third and fourth places...but i don't know how to do a poem contest! *embarrassed*

That's easy 😋 (don't be embarrassed though)
Just pick a theme that users have to write a poem about and then let all of the members know about it then set a deadline for it to give people time to work on it then when the time comes you judge them & announce the results!

so I announce it, give them time to think of it, then they type it on here, I judge it, and give out prizes! okay, how long should i give? maybe a week or two?

Hmmm yeah that seems about right, a week should be good I think unless people need more time. But really it's all up to you, your club your rules ya know. ;D
You also should keep track of who all wants to enter too so you can track who's finished & who still has to turn theirs in.

FIRST PLACE: 45k EC and a kujak egg
SECOND PLACE: 25k EC and a lissam egg
THIRD PLACE: 15k EC and a pogknot egg

The sun sinks low in the crimson sky
the waters below dance in their finest gold
from riches beneath the dolphins leap and fly!
Their serene fins tickle playfully at a wind grown cold
as mersongs echo in the sunset, in jest they cry:

"The sun may play at your back and the wind to your fins
but so long as you wear your silver skins,
you are bound forever to the oceans whims."

The merpeople laughed with no tone of reproof
and the dolphins sank down to the sea once more
diving deep they trade away dreams for the truth,
Leap as high as they may from the day they are born
but try as they might, a dolphin will never soar.
