Truth be told, I have no idea what I'm doing here... ^^" I'll try my best luck, of course. Here I go.

Aherm! *clears throat* *takes microphone* *taps* Testing, testing, one, two, three... Okay, I'm good.

--Reasons for wanting Curry:
Tines are the most adorable creatures EVER! And I can guess people agree (of course they agree, otehrwise we wouldn't be linin' up to win her) that she is a jewel to have and care for. Truly, I'm very keen on having a Tine, despite many failed attempts to offer for one, but I've not raised for it forever like some people here have. Nevermind, I'll still try my luck. 😊

--Story:

The haze of the storm was already clouding your vision, as the wind and mist had grown stronger and thicker and still increased by the minute while you navigated blindly through the fields. The rain had come with lightining and thunder, pouring upon you all of a sudden so you barely had had any time to take cover. Now, flapping through the pools of water, you rushed towards a rather massive tree up ahead, that you were sure would provide a temporary shelter. From time to time, a sharp slit of pure light would rip the sky, illuminating the path for a split second before darkness engulfed you again. Last but not least, there was the deafening thunder, piercing your mind, despite your eager attempts to block out the sound with both hands pressed against your ears.

All of a sudden, as you hauled yourself under the tree's large crown of leaves, all the havoc seemed to magically cease - as if the plant's shelter muted out all loud noises. For a while you lay unmoving on the surprisingly dry grass beneath the tree, body sprawled out in all directions and nose, planted in the dust - you could bet on how ridiculous you must've looked that very moment... Almost instantly propping yourself up against the tree's trunk you rested your troubled head and moist hair against the bark, seamlessly letting your eyelids droop.

It weren't the rays of sunshine that woke you up. As you cracked a sleepy eye open, the first thing you saw was a dim neon gleam winking at you. You couldn't quite recall the tree you hid under but your mind clearly remembered - there had been no glowing flowers!

Jolting up from your sleeping place, you ended up sharply hitting your head in one of the lower branches that hung above you. That was enough to make you regain all your senses (and also bring you a mild headache...). For the first time, you truly had a good look around, but barely brought yourself to believe it all.

You sat directly under the tree, where you had taken cover. The plant's crown was thick and hung narrowly over you, branches draped all the way down, creating a small arch above and forming what looked like a cocoon of leaves. You suddenly realized - it must be some sort of a willow then. The tree's leaves were so thickly grown that not even the light from outside was capable of peeking in. Therefore, the small tent-like shelter you were in was completely dark... save for the glowing plantlife.

It looked like some kind of biolumiscent jungle around you... The trunk of the tree was hugged by electric blue vines that wrapped around it's lower branches. There were strange amethyst-colored flowers growing on each branch and providing an intense purple glow. Only the grass seemed to be the color it was supposed to be, but with one difference - it was a neon green.

By the time you've looked around, your eyes were already wide and large, ready to pop out any second now... It was magical, magnificent, beautiful. Thinking a bit, you managed to sum everything up in one word - surreal.

All this time you had been sitting on the ground, simply staring ahead. As you turned to look at the other half of the tree, you were met with a furry pink muzzle pointed right at your face. Letting out a (*cough*girly*couh*) scream, you jolted back, hitting your head again, but on the trunk of the tree this time.

With your back firmly pressed against one side of the tree's trunk, you stared at the surreal being in front. No bigger than a kitten, a small pink creature stood before you, watching you with bright blue eyes that matched the spernatural glow of everything around them. True, the neon plants had been gorgeous, but this small furry animal's glow outdid everything you had ever seen... It's downy pink pelt seemed to emit it's own dim light, making it look nearly like a shining star in all it's might. The fur was shaped differently on it's neck, where a tuft of soft feather-like hairs made up a mantle. It's sharp muzzle and the pointed ears, it's small paws set uppon the ground... the locks of pink that hung in curls over it's left eye... The more you looked at the creature, the more you seemed to drown in it's enchanting beauty. It was a megnificent sight to behold, for sure...

Tilting your head slightly to the left, you caught a glance of it's sides, speckled with bright red hearts, and it's furry pink tail, with a matching heart propped on it's end.

Through the haze of your mind, you only managed to mutter a few brief words.
"Wh-...what are you?"

~ I'm love... love... ove ~

"AAH!" came the sharp yell, after the creature's words echoed inside your head. You had least expected an answer, especially from a supernatural being.

Your mind took some time to adjust to the chime of the pink thing's voice, but you calmed down nevertheless. The mild fear occupying your mind now gave way to curiosity and you warily approached the small creature, stopping at a distance of two feet.
"Y-you're... love?" you question again, tilting your head lightly in confusion. "How can that be?"

~ Simple. I'm love.... love... ove... ~
~ Don't you believe me.... me.... e..... ~

Why I'd like to adopt Curry:
I'm a fan of Tines, even though pink isn't my best interest, they are adorable. I've worked on trying to earn my own Tine, but I don't have the time or money to put into getting one, they're too much for me, and the fact that my parents don't like the idea of me spending too much money on pixels. Even though you're keeping the name, Curry is one of my most favorite rice toppings. I could care less about how rare she is.

Story:
The night sky was wisped with cold air sending flakes of snow drifting downward, blanketing the ground. Critters passed each other humming and singing in preparation of the upcoming holidays. Bringing the holiday spirits to all, but one. Huddled up deep below the ground laid a small creature. Her pink fur bristled through the small breeze that crept in from above. Her eyes were drooped open, lost in her own fantasy. Who was she really?

A small thunk had snapped her back into reality, "Nng...Curry, you should work on making the landing more easier for me.", a small green rat-like creature sat from where she'd fallen, rubbing the specks of dirt off her fur. Curry glanced over at the small critter,
"I think you should be more careful with your landing, Flick."
Flick lifts up her wings shaking the snow off, "My wings aren't suited for this weather, after all I am a Flickle, and you are a Tine, your wings are more powerful in comparison."
Curry shook her head, "Nothing is impossible. It's all about determination. How much are you willing to push yourself before you've reached your limit?"
Flick stretched and yawned, resting beside Curry, "It seems I've reached my limit for today.", and she was out like a light.

Curry couldn't sleep that night. She took her chances and escaped into the night sky. Her wings flowing perfectly in sync with the wind, drifting wherever the wind took her. It was only a matter of time that she was soaring over Ark City. The view was breathtaking, though she knew she had to take a quick landing. Crossing along the border in this time would be dangerous due to high security. Ark City only allowed a few critters to pass through at this time, but Tine's were one of the few restrictions for the season.

Curry folded her wings back going down in a straight dive. Her speed was magnificent. Slowing down she released her wings, descending beneath the darkness of the forest.
She let out a deep breath, "It's been a while since I've come here, has it Mango?"

A tall and broad creature stepped out hidden behind a tree, his gaze was calm. The furs of his coat flowed softly with the wind, golden like the sun, "Two years my lady."
Curry nodded, "Where are the others?",
Mango walked forward stepping along an open path, "Follow me."

Their surroundings began to slowly change. What once was a forest seemed to become more of a jungle. Curry became more dazed and confused,
"What happened to the old location?",
Mango slowly went into a halt, his eyes sinking into darkness, "A new clan has been forming around our territory, they've crossed into our path and declared war without any hesitation. There wasn't any warning, it was an assassination."
Curry's eyes were shrouded in fear, "Did anyone get hurt at the time?"
"No.", he paused, "Some humans came wandering through and we all parted ways. We were lucky that time, but next time we wont be. They'll kill us on the spot if we don't take action.", he continued moving along the path while Curry followed from behind. Both remaining in silence.

Light began to shine along the pathway leading up to a waterfall, "Wait here.", Mango strolled off into the distance, his figure slowly fading soon being enveloped in darkness.
It was only a matter of time until Mango reappeared standing at the small mount of the waterfall, "This way, my lady."
Curry lowered her body into a leaping position, taking a big leap onto the mount beside Mango.
"I didn't have to carry you up this time I see.", Mango let out a small chuckle.
"I've gotten stronger over the time.", Curry replied.
"And less lazier I would presume?", Mango raised his brow.
Curry smirked, "I was never lazy. I was only storing up my energy."

They walked further through the path leading them into an opening. Large trees surrounded the opening with vines. Shelters were hidden beneath the grounds. The trees were covered with vibrant colored leafs and plants, giving their surroundings a colorful glow.

The area remained silent for a couple of seconds.
"Welcome back Curry, Goddess of Love.", walking out from behind a large tree stood a beautiful and majestic creature. Her fur was blue as the night sky.
Curry shook her head, "I am no goddess. Love is just another tragedy.",
The creature smirked, "You haven't changed ever since."
"Neither have you, Claire.", Curry smiled.

Claire led the way deep below the underground shelters. The other critters applauded and welcomed Curry back home.

Everything was a blur; I felt completely unconscious, oblivious to the ominous scene around me. A whirlpool of suspicion swirled in to my heart; the heart that was built to love, to never hate. But I could feel it, the grimness sinking in. I yelped desperately, but my voice just faded into the hollow trees.

My eyelids slowly opened as if I was waking up from a horrible nightmare. I was in a vulnerable, painful state. There was a dreadful collection of vines fiercely and cruelly dancing in the slow wisps of wind. It was a display of horror. Absolute horror. And it was wrapped right around me.

My revenge was burning a hole in my heart. It was taking away my concentration on what I should of been staring at: the vine. But my mind was merging the present with the past, the anger with the frustration. My breaths became short and raspy. The vines were like a tangled up cage for me, but there was something else...something quite caring about the messy pile of vines. I wouldn't take any chances. I didn't want to be that kind of Tine. I wanted to be me, the strong, fierce Tine.

I did it. My jaw drew back, revealing a small set of tiny little teeth. There was a burst of confidence. A strong bitter flavor of arrogance rushed through me, clinging on to my soul, my heart, my hope, and every single emotion I ever had. I teared through the vines, feeling a new warm strength rising. "This is not the end!" I whispered to myself triumphantly. There was a huge mist of guilty pleasure cloaking around me. I felt alive, as if I was never hurt. As if I didn't have a past, as if I was just born and was starting a wonderful life.

That's when all my new strength disappeared.

"Enough, stop!"

Cheers and laughter raised from the clan, "Enough!",
Mango stood up from the crowd his eyes filled with concern, "We have to lay low from this day forward, the other clan is still lurking around. For all we know, they could be close by. I don't want any of you to get comfortable here, we might have to move to a new location.", he let out a sigh, "I don't suppose they'll give up on attacking us, so all we can do now is prepare ourselves for what lays ahead of us."
The members nodded there heads in silence as they were dismissed into their own dug out deep beneath the ground.

After all the members had tucked themselves in Curry led herself out the tunnel,
"Can't sleep?", Claire approached Curry from behind.
Curry shook her head, "This may seem all too sudden, but I have some business left to take care of at home.", she paused, "I'll do all that I have to do there, and I'll return here tomorrow night, I assure you."
Claire nodded in approval, "Be safe."
Curry shook her head, "I'm more concerned of you all than I am concerned of myself. I'll be fine."

{Curry's view}

Sometimes I begin to wonder, is what I ever say true? At times I question myself these things wondering if I truly mean what I say. I look back at the members and see familiar faces, but at the same time they've become strangers, but that's where my heart lies. I wasn't there for them in their time of need, but this is my one chance to make it up to them.

Looking into the night sky I see the stars scattered around. Different shapes, different colors, they are all very unique, and they work together to brighten up the night sky. I guess for others you can say they all look the same in our eyes, that is if you look at them more closely. It's how most of our minds work, some of us judge one another depending on how similar they look to another, only to see the difference by looking closer to who they really are.

It wasn't too long of a flight until I reached my home town. I folded my wings back positioning myself into a dive. My body is hit with the flowing rush of the wind going past me as I sink further down below the sky. At the right moment I spread my wings open letting my body slowly drift downward into my hidden dug out. The fall was subtle, complete and utter silence. I calmly rested myself beside Flick as she slept peacefully in her dreams. I whispered "Goodnight.", and let my mind drift away into an effortless sleep.
