Cave Story RP

Hi humans and animals and fellow robots! How many of you know how to play cave story? If you don't, YOU HAVE NEVER LIVED. I'm not quite sure how to roleplay, so here is my rusty start;

I found myself in a rusty cave. It was drippy. I think I was asleep for 10 years! Who am I? I get up, and walk out to a larger area. It is flooded with bats. I can't defend myself, so I just have to run around in the cave until I came to a place with a man inside. He was asleep, but there was a nice gun sitting by him. I grabbed it and made a run for it.

How was it? It stinked, right?
