Mysterious Asteroid--Can't Attempt to Steal

I clicked on the Asteroid and it says that I already tried to steal an egg today. I know I haven't, though, because I haven't even been on today! I know this isn't really a big issue, seeing as it's almost officially tomorrow, but it's a bit irritating. There isn't an egg in my Cove suggesting that I stole something, either. The only thing I can think of is that somebody hacked my account, which couldn't happen since I don't keep any record of my passwords, and even my parents don't know them. Anyone else have this problem?

@whitefire
I have had this problem before, it did go away after a couple days though.

Thanks for the info!

@whitefire
If it doesn't go away after a bit I would submit a ticket though.

I'm thinking it might be because of the overlay on hourly visits from yesterday?
I can't be sure though, haha. All I know was, this morning it still let you visit hourly, but soon after it was turned off, so. 😸

@whitefire
Hope it goes away though! I'm sure it will by tomorrow.

@whitefire
If you think your account is hacked you should change your password. I did that and it worked

@Cynder5
It couldn't have been. I'm so paranoid that there is absolutely no way to pry out my password to ANYTHING--even my iPad.

@whitefire

Any password can be cracked, it doesn't matter if you've given it to someone or not. Some passwords are more difficult to obtain than others (such as encrypted webpages where you see "https" in the URL), however, if someone can tap into your network (which is not usually difficult), then passwords can be very easy to obtain depending on the circumstances. (This is something that happens very rarely, I'm not saying this to scare you, but people say to change your passwords often for this very reason!)

If you think someone else has been on your account, send in a ticket, and I'm sure Ian would be able to give you a list of the IP addresses that have logged in on your account. Are you currently able to steal from the Asteroid? Or is this issue still going on?
