@ems Lexi rubbed her hands uncomfortably. "Youve told me your secret. It's time for me to tell you." Before she continued, she put a hand on Storm. "Don't tell anyone," she said. "Not even Rohan!"

@jemmie--Storm crossed her heart with her right hand, while holding her left hand up. "Promise." She said earnestly. Lexi kept her secret, and Storm was extremely grateful for it. The other girl would likely never know how grateful Storm was.

@ems Lexi took a breath, and closed her eyes.--"Long ago, my parents bought a pet frog. That was one or the happiest moments of my life. We would take care of it, and cherish it. But when I was...about 4, my parents got divorced. It was sad. My dad went to live somewhere else, so I lived with my mom. We were happier then."One day, my mom was sending me to go on a visit at Dads. She drove me there, but when we got there, Dad said he needed to talk to mom. It turned out to be that he would be marrying another woman, and they were moving to there."Anyways, they left, and I never saw them again. I started doing stuff for myself, until I was adopted again of course. That was around age 7. I hadn't known much back then. I do now..so I don't really have a real family. @jemmie--Spontaneously, Storm hugged Lexi. "I promise." She said. Letting go, Storm sighed. "You wanna know why I live here?" She asked. Lexi told her something very personal, and Storm wanted Lexi to know. Maybe she wouldn't feel alone.

@jemmie@alphapercival xD--Storm took a deep breath. "It's pretty foggy, but I'm pretty sure that I was abandoned by my parents soon after I was born. I also think that the animals took care of me, not so sure. But eventually, I was strong enough to build a cabin. So I did. And I've lived here ever since, and only hunt when I have to. Got a job, got out more, and it's gotten better. I haven't found my parents, but I'm not sure if I want to... Either way, I want to know more. I've been in the dark so long... It's just... Crazy. I don't even have their names. I don't know what they look like, I know nothing. Now Rohan's staying here until I can build him a cabin, and he's so high strung... It's just a huge mess now." Storm buried her face in her hands. "I'm just so confused... Rohan just... He's so hard to deal with! He can't do anything. Like, he's my friend and everything, but he's really high maintenance. I'm used to having a quiet life. Not so quiet now. I'm afraid that the police is going to be breaking down my door... Ugg."

@ems @alphapercival Lexi stared into space. She knew how it felt...to be abandoned, not knowing how to do anything, living on your own. "Guess we aren't so different after all!" mumbled Lexi, breaking the silence.

@ems By the time Lexi found 'her' swan, it was sunrise. 'Her' swan was Snow. She had snow white feathers, and was as beautiful as ever. Lexi found her without a family...like herself when her parents died. Without thinking, she adopted her.

@alphapercival @ems OMG HAPPY NEW YEARS! but I GTGLexi carried Snow all the way home. She wanted to tell Storm and Rohan, but she realized she didn't know their number. Sighing, she laid down in bed and west to a smiling, peaceful sleep.

@ems @jemmie When Lexi woke up, she decided to go back to Storm's house. After all, the swan! Bring Snow with her, she headed off. When she was close to the forest, she could hear chopping.

@alphapercival@jemmie--Storm began singing as she chopped, trying to dispel her boredom. The song had a strong tune and a steady beat. She sang of the mountains tall and strong. She sang about the chill of the air, and the trees and the birds. Of tales that had been long since forgotten.
