What exactly is a star pet?

I know that you can buy something in the cash shop to make your pet a star pet, but what does it actually do to your pet?

Exactly what it sounds like, it adds a star to your pet's picture. It adds rarity, but I've found that many users don't like stars so...yeah. You can also get a star creature for free from the cave it your lucky.

@jmt_1992 A star creature is suppose to have more value, but like @seaangel said, many users don't like them because they come in inconvenient places. This is a star creature. http://eggcave.com/egg/323587 The star always comes in that corner and sometimes it blocks your critters head! Oh no!

@jmt_1992 I know that would be such a good idea! Some people, like myself -except for that weird monkey!- place stars on important critters. Like my honk, he was the first critter of mine, I stole him on a friends account though. xDD
