Nurarihyon no mago. It's a short one when you watch the episodes, around 40 episodes. The manga is a bit longer, a lot more detailed, there are even some storylines that aren't in the episodes. It's a bit like D.N. Angel.

Soul Eater is soooo good. o>o I'm obsessed (still).

Of course, so are Hetalia and Wolf's Rain, or I wouldn't have suggested them. Wolf's Rain is 30 episodes long (about 24 minutes each, so it's not long.) I'm not sure how long Hetalia is. Soul Eater is 51 episodes, about 24 minutes long each.

I thought Hetalia was kind of lame. ^^; But that's just me.

My two most highly recommended animes are:

TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN! Giant fighty robots and inspiring characters and a little bit of romance make for my favorite anime ever. For pure entertainment value, this one tops pretty much everything else I've ever watched. Not kidding.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica
This one only has twelve (I think?) episodes, so it's a fast watch. I finished it in one day. It's just marvelous. So many feels. It starts off kind of happy and glitzy and fun and then slowly devolves into horror and suffering and it's absolutely beautiful.

I also like Cowboy Bebop and FullMetal Alchemist. I'm a little older than most EggCave users (late teens), so take that into account with my recommendations. I also lean toward shonen anime rather than shoujo anime.

EDIT:
For pure fluff, I also enjoyed Ouran High School Host Club. But boy, it's fluffy. X3

@aliney I used to watch a LOT of anime & I'd recommend:

Wolf's Rain
It's so sad but such a good story if you like more of a post apocalyptic/dark story line where the characters never give up hope in a realistic sort of way. It's also my favorite, I practically grew up watching it 😋 Oh and the Manga differs dramatically from the anime, completely different story & ending so if you watch it read it too

Natsume Yuujinchou/Natsume's Book of Friends
It's an over all feel good anime where this guy can see spirits & helps them out while trying to live a semi normal life. As a plus it has like 3 seasons, I think more are being developed too. I'm watching this now

Psychic Detective Yakumo
Also really good if you're into a darker story line with plenty of mystery & drama. Oh it has to do with spirits too and the opening theme is catchy it got stuck in my head CONSTANTLY

Ergo Proxy
I only recommend this one if you're ok with adult language in anime. It's good though, in a sad weird way

Claymore
It's a good anime but the manga is longer

Spice & Wolf, Pandora Hearts, The Wallflower if you want funny fluffy stuff, Full Metal Panic is ok, Death Note was good Oh & I'll add Witch Hunter Robin

I know you watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood so if you want a movie to see too look up Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa, It's a continuation of the original FMA 😉 it made me feel better about the ending to the original FMA which made me cry

But yeah, I'll stop now, maybe I'll think up more later.
