Anyone remember the old eggcave?

Once apon a time before egg cave was bright and known it were a mix of dark green colours. The forums were the blog comments, there was no such thing as Leila and privacy was nothing!

They brought back so many memories. LOL It's weird for me because I went on hiatus right before we got V2. And then I came back when V2 was quite old, so I was really lost for awhile. XP

I miss the old EC background & layout. It was so beautiful. So purdy. D:

When v2 came out, I felt like I was staring at a lightbulb
Maybe I should've worn sunglasses xD

And everyone was debating how darker layouts use less energy...? Or maybe it was lighter colors xD Don't remember

Hmm. I do like the layout but I like that we can see what we get from the cave, and the cash shop and all that fancy new stuff now. 😃

I don't mind the fact that Egg Cave has progressed in the ways it has... but I'd love the old background back xD

The old profile setup would stretch the page on endlessly, though it is nostalgic...

Man. I can still remember so many things about V.1....

I've always liked V1's background colours, it brought a mysterious atmosphere and was much easier on the eyes. ^^ While I do like V2, the light tones hurt my eyes, especially the white. Ahaha. xD

I registered during V1... (October 30th) but then I was like "WHERE ARE THE FORUMS" and went back to Dragon Adopts. I only came back when I got a beta tester email on my now-defunct email address (well, it's full of Facebook stuff XD) but I'm glad I did 😊 V1 seemed like a nice place!

I had joined eggcave just before immortality was introduced. I quit almost a month later because keeping eggs alive and fed for eternity sounded unappealing to me. Not sure why I came back, but I did return some months later to find the place almost completely different than from before. I liked it much better, and since have stayed for nearly 2 years now. I do miss the darker color scheme though. But that's all I miss.

Back when I recognized every travel & creature. C:

Now that I look back at the creature profile screenie, I missed how the three boxes lined up. :C
