Since usually a person with a freeze has more than just 250cc I would assume a newer cs critter. But that's just my opinion

Well some people have traded two flarens for a freeze, I think it depends on the person who's giving the freeze

If you're dealing with a truly fair trader a CS creature (+ something small for the trouble) is worth 2 freezes. I traded several older CRW eggs for multiple freezes (2 CRW 2010 eggs for an ecorth and 3 freezes).

I recommend asking around a bit before deciding.

Though I also agree with icymuffin, it also depends on the urgency of the freeze, so it's best to decide early on which pets you want frozen. This is also because at the time you really need the freeze, the fair traders may be out of CC (which is problematic :S).
