...or any kind of ache, for that matter?

I hate toothaches most of all. There's just something that really bothers me about having a sore tooth or gums or whatever. On the bright side, it does scare me into brushing better and flossing (yeah I'm not exactly a religious flosser and I know I should be, sue me :x I much prefer the water pick, but dentists swear by dental floss. ick. 😋)

I do have respect for dentists and oral hygienists, though. How do they do it? The human mouth is freaking nasty.

I don't tend to freak out when I get a toothache, I have only ever had one cavity in my life. I find it shocking though, because I never really floss very often. I don't spend more than a minute brushing my teeth yet the dentist says I have the cleanest and healthiest teeth of most of his patients. If I ever get a gum ache I put this medicine on that numbs most of my mouth for a while. Don't ever go out in public after using it, you can't talk to anyone without sounding like an idiot.

Hm, never heard of anything like that. I usually just use salt water and the pain goes away. Still bugs me though.☹️

I don't remember what it was called, my dad just gave me a bottle one day. It looked so old it could have like been pain medication from WW1 or some thing XD. It was in a glass bottle and the medicine itself is orange. I may never know what that stuff is or were it comes from.....All I know is that it really works. I'm sorry about your toothache, I hope you feel better soon. ☹️

@metaphor I TOTALLY freak out when I get a toothache. When I was little, my dad told me that tooth paste is poison and if you swallow it by accident, you need to go to the hospital and they cut your stomach open to get it out. I just used the tooth brush and water those days. But, when I went on a sleepover to my cousin's house, we were brushing our teeth and she asked me why I was brushing that way and I told her what my dad told me. She LAUGHED and told me the truth. I was like 0.0 and then... >:[ I HATE YOU DAD!!! I brush every time I go in the bathroom nowadays but my teeth are still "scared". I'm afraid of toothaches cause my teeth are somewhat loose when I get toothaches (because of what happened before) and I always have dreams about my teeth falling out and then... you know....

Well, I guess it depends on what kind of toothache you mean. XD I mean, my teeth have hurt several times, and I don't freak out, but I know there is a much more major kind, that hurts really bad. I'm sure it wouldn't be pleasant...

Haha, aww. ☹️
That kind of reminds me of the time I told my friend who was drawing all over herself with blue pen that she was going to get ink poisoning and die. That night, she went home and cried and she still won't forgive me for that one, haha. xD
