I think it'd be a great idea if we could search up creatures by species. For example, if I searched "Shaibun" in the search bar, all Shaibuns on the site would show up, as well as a specific number of Shaibuns there are. I know there is a weighted rarity in the Archives, but I think it would be better if there was:a) an exact numberandb) information as to who has the creature. Please tell me your opinions! 😊

@crunchyoreo25 I completely agree. @-@ It would make lots of things easier to find, and when people argue about how many of a certain species there are, you can check. xD

@CrunchyOreo25Yeah! That's an amazing idea! It would help during CRW, because some people like to see what a creature's gonna look like BEFORE it hatches, and it's hard to guess what kinds of names there are when you're searching for the whole of the species.

I think part of this has been suggested several times now.Personally, I wouldn't want my creatures to show up. Nor do I think users with secret storage accounts appreciate it. After all, what is a secret storage account [specifically designed to keep creatures from gaining stats] when it's not a secret anymore?

@crunchyoreo25 Hmm...not sure how I feel about this. It might lead to people with rare creatures being constantly harassed for trades (especially by new users) because it would be really easy to find those creatures. Plus I don't think we need to know the exact rarity, since it's the not only thing (or even the most important thing) that affects the price of a creature. For example, an abrillion is a 6 rarity and a tine is 16, so the abrillion is much more rare. However the tine is a lot more popular and has a lot more demand, so it's worth waaaaaaay more.

That would be a great tool, but we should respect people privacy. 😊

@icymuffin True, but maybe there could be an option where you could prevent that specific cove/creature from appearing?@musicgurl333 But it would also help with determining a creature's worth, if not with the popularity.

@crunchyoreo25 If users could opt out then you still wouldn't know how many of each creature existed, so it doesn't seem very useful. Although I still don't understand why anyone would need to know the EXACT number of creatures that exist. The weighted rarity already shows you how rare each creature is...it just doesn't give exact numbers.I agree with @icymuffin that many people (myself included) have creatures and side accounts that we wouldn't want coming up in a search because they don't want them to gain stats. Basically I don't see much benefit to this, but there are a lot of drawbacks. I feel like the biggest thing that it would be useful for is easily finding who has a certain creature that you want. For people with rare creatures, I don't think that's necessarily something that they would want. I feel like it would make it too easy for people to go begging for trades. If someone wants to find a creature, they should ask on the forums or look in the TC.
