I walked WITHOUT my boot B]

I have to go to PT, but the other day, after two months of not being able to walk without something on my ankle - I walked without my boot.


Yesterday morning I walked a little bit more and my mom started crying.



But just now, after I got out of the tub - I walked from the bathroom to my moms room and back without any support.

I had ankle surgery.

One was to clean up just a bunch of tissue and "debris" and the other was a brostrom repair.


I thought my tendon, to use a rubber band reference, stressed so much it lost it's elasticity - nope. My tendon [Or two, I think he said a pural, but I don't know for sure] was just snapped in half. He said I had an injury at an early age and it just snapped it. [I think it was when I was 9ish, I had to go to the ER and they just wrapped it. gave me crutches, and said have a nice day]

Owowo O_o The worst injury I've ever had was..... Sunburn? Bruises? Cuts? xD
I was in a car accident.... But the only thing that cracked was the windows 😸
And sometimes I get bad sick. But that's it 😋

I've never experienced any major injuries. Never broken an arm or leg or even a sprain xD The worst I ever got when I tripped over when I was WALKING! I only ever trip if I walk. I never trip when I run. The teachers always say to me,'WALK DON'T RUN!' *trips over*

@cafe Glad you're getting better! I hope you're not in too much pain.

Only really bad injuries I had until now were a sprained ankle (greetings to my PE teacher who said, that I was perfectly okay) and a broken arm (thank god it was my left arm - I'm right handed)

I've always had weak ankles. Both. But somehow the torn in half tendon happened from an injury. And ever since then I'd sprain my week from once a week to once a month, but it would happen mostly once every other week ranging from moderate to I'd be unable to walk on it.


I have had my crutches so long, they're named ROFLROFL

Weak ankle = Bad sprain = Torn in half tendon = lots of sprains = surgery = PT = no more severe sprains, hopefully
