OMG!!!

Oh, my, gosh. I dropped my iPad and the home key isn't working so I'm stuck on the Google app which is is different than Safari because it can only have one tab open at a time AND I was charging it and the charger connected to the iPad got badly bent so now I can't take it off.
What am I going to do??? D8

@jennifer GO TO OR CALL THE APPLE STORE!!!! They know how to fix it! (; It happened to my cousin!

@plushie It's the middle of the night here! And the Apple store is in downtown... ☹️ I just realized how horrible Chicago is. Heh, well, at least I got to see what the inside of a charger looks like. If I have time (which I never do) I'll upload a picture of it.

Wait, does your charger consist of a sync cable attached to the charging adapter, or just straight - a charger. Cant you remove it? is it jammed? o.o

@jennifer do it tomorrow? Well last week I got to see everything inside a ipod touch, tried fixing it's screen and broke everything by taking it all out and braking it xD I even accidentally took the LCD out *whoops*, gave up so me and Dad took it to get properly fixed XD

@frosted Uh... asfar as I know, judging by the sign on it, it's not from Apple. It's a spare because I couldn't find the regular one this morning (darn it, dad). *inspects it* 0.o
Hm... it has the little clasp thing on it... *tries to take it off* No use, it's already bent. ☹️

@status 😸 I was checking out/experimenting with the Google app and then I found:
'Open in Safari' and then now I'm on Safari where I can open more than one tab 😃

Oh. XD I interpreted it as locked out of your own home. XP Sorry about that. >.<

SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HELP....

1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to General
3. Go to Accessibility
4. Go to Assistive Touch
5. Turn on Assistive Touch.

Assistive Touch really helps for some people. You may like it, you may not. XD If you activate it then you can go to the home page via it. ^^ Hope this was helpful. 😸

In the settings there is something called

You also spelled 'iPad', 'iLad'. XD

Oh right. Did you turn in Multitasking Gestures in the Settings when you first got your iPad? If so then this might work...

Place 5 fingertips on the iPad screen and slide inwards.
Did that make sense? XD

You should probably turn on Assistive touch now cause the home button probably doesn't work still. ^^
