Help D:

Help solve this?

----A B
- x C B
_______
----[] 9
--[][] 0
_______
--[][][]

This would be solved with multiplication. Sorry D: I need to find the smallest possible answer.

And then....

List all the counting numbers which leave a remainder of four when divided into 22.

And last...

Admission to the local theater is $3 for kids and $7 for adults. A group of 12 goes to the theater and pays $64. How many are children?

Sorry D:

For the first question, I believe the smallest possible answer is 299. A = 1, B = 3, C = 2.

For the third question, the answer is 5 children.
Let x = # of children

3x + 7(12-x) = 64
3x + 84 -7x = 64
-4x = -20
x=5

EDIT -
For the second question, the answers are 6, 9, and 18.

22/6 = 3 R 4
22/9 = 2 R 4
22/18 = 1 R 4
