Star Epidemic... :|

Yup. I can officially say Ian has made a new epidemic. I don't mind stars...It's just that people don't get the concept of stars. It's to add spark and maybe a little bit more value, but not a whole level or rarity UP.

Maybe a LE creature that came originally with a star, would be worth something, but junk creatures? Just because a junk creature has a star, doesn't make it worth an LE or CSP creature...

*I'm not saying people can or can't trade star creatures for whatever, I'm just saying what I think of the new, annoying, epidemic*

I just wanna get a few stars (and already have) to establish a few of my most important creatures. NOT by the rarity, but by sentimental value in my cove. Not saying that it's right to go, "Oh, I have cc, why don't I just slap a star onto some random junk egg and try to get an onny with it?" o_e I mean, I like the whole star thing, but NOT if people just do it to get more pricey creatures. But, unfortuantely, with the eggcave economy right now, it's not too surprising to me that people took it to that level. :/ I just wanna keep it simple by only giving stars to my favorite creatures: The ones that I love and would never trade.

@Frosty I got a few stars already. xD Tw of them on my two rarest creatures, but that's not why. X3 I put stars on Valencia, Super, and Carlos. (SHOCKERRRR XD) Lol. nd I might be getting two more stars in August...

You say the truth. I want my most dear pets t be star creatures, like my calla, florn, and luvlei. But, it's no easy getting 100 cavecash for supposely making it more valuable :/ I think the Stars are for your favortie creatures and the ones you'd like to give a bit more shine, like unchagas (ugly pets, but they seem cute!).

@frosty As you see, I don't have one star on any of my critters, even though I have CC and can get more. Its kind of just a way for Ian to receive more money, which I support. But I don't support it enough to put a random star on the corner of my critter's picture...

Lol, I don't blame Ian at all! I just blame the people of Egg Cave for taking it to the next level.

But Ian kind of does play a role in this, because on the blog post when star creatures were first discovered, he said: "Star creatures are the rarest of the rare..."

@Frosty Good point. 😱 At this point, he should've said: "Star creatures are the rarest of the rare until people hoard star potions hoping for rare creatures and the rarity goes dowwwwnnnn....." XDDDDD I mean, they were rare the first day they were released, same with all of the new eggcave creatures, (strongly displayed with Flarens X3) but a lot of people get annoyed when people ask too much for these simple things...



...and I can only imagine how expensive Litsdnats was when it first came out. >.<

@Frosty Yeah like I am only giving a star to Kiara_Rachel because my BFF who's like my big sister in real life is named Rachel and her GS camp name was Kiara. Thats the only reason why I stared her.

I gave stars to a few with help of @bluegirl80, but Ian did have a role to play... He said rarest of the rare, I think this was to help newbies. But now it is no help to them, and is worth nothing really. It is more like a donation to Ian and you get a sticker on your pets picture for it xD

I dont like these stars. My main travel is the Bunny in a Meadow and I want all my creatures to have stars, for the heck of it. But the stars cover the bunny face.

I wanna put stars on all of my favorite creatures, but I don't know why people are so obsessed with them. 😋 They're not even that rare when you get them in the CAVE, I got a STAR Garguaith (sp?) the other day. XD

The only star creature I have is the one I got from the cave. I rather use the 100 CC towards a freeze,etc.

Sometimes the stars make the creature look uhh.. random? Well, have a look at my krah, it doesn't look too bad with a star on it, does it?

Oh and I remember when some random person said that he wanted my shaibun and eyleymo for his star alkub. I never even wanted a star alkub! (Or trade any of my creatures away for that matter).
