What do travels do?

I'm still kind of new, so I have always wondered what do travels do? O.o

Travels give your creatures a background and makes them more attractive, but that's it. Like my Paret egg's travel. And the better a travel goes with a creature, the more attractive it is. Like a Biwo on the Tree of Sparkling. The color scheme and theme are important to remember when choosing a travel for your creature. You wouldn't, for example, put a Pink Clouds of Northern Ark on a Biwo, because the color scheme doesn't work, nor does the theme. I'm not saying you couldn't, but it just wouldn't look as good.

@SkyHealerOfTheSkies You're welcome! Yeah, remember the color scheme/theme thing. My Pantheart got people grumbling at me for its travel.
