@sharkout@dashie--Not seeing anything special, Storm searched the darkened skies for the North Star. Spotting it, she decided that it may lead her where she was going, and followed it, having no better plan. As she limped as fast as she could, she howled to the moon, her night mother (stealing this from you, Dashie).

"Sure, thanks! But I'm fine. It's been awhile since I loosened my limbs, and just ran for a time. I could use the stretch." David morphed into his cat form, and ran up to Sapphire's side. "Onward, to victory against evil!"

@dashie 😋@sharkout ONWARD! 8D~Storm saw Sapphire take to the air, and limped quietly under her, keeping a distance from her friends.Friends.Why was the word so unfamiliar? Shouldn't Storm know the word well?Then Storm remembered: she hadn't even started school before her parents began to hurt her. She never had friends, if fact, she had kept to herself for 7 long years before running away, to become forever free. To become the moon's dark daughter, a child of the shadows. The moon was Storm's guardian, always there; night after night.

@ems@sharkout~Sapphire"Join me, in a roar to triumph!" I roared to the sky, to the moon, to the stars. My scales glowed in triumph as well, and the stars glowed brightly. I continued to roar.

@sharkout@dashie@jbrittle Sup.--Storm howled even as she ran, the sound deafeningly loud. Yet the call wasn't like that if triumph. It was mournful, full of pain and age that wasn't supposed to be there. Storm had found out long ago just how cruel the world was, and she seemed old and jaded. She yet again howled to the moon, mistress of the night.

@sharkout@dashie--Storm felt hot tears burn in her eyes, so she snarled them away like she always had, the aching pain her foreleg another reason to look tough. She would brush it away again, and move on. She wouldn't grieve, wouldn't cry. If her past were a corpse lying in a casket, Storm wouldn't have cried, or shown any emotion. Just stared blankly, like nothing happened, and walk away.

@sharkout@dashie--"I'm fine." Storm growled, look still seeping slowly from her wound. It was a lie. All of it. Her entire life. Storm lived a lie. But she knew better than to say such things, so she stood silently before the gate, willing it to open. Maybe then she could die and move on. Not like anyone needed her. "Let's kick some demon butt."

@ems~SapphireI sigh, and look to the gate. I look back to Storm. "I'm going to tell you something. Something, important. Look at the stars." I say, and sit down next to her. "They are all different, as are we. Being different means:- Not being afraid to challenge the norm.- Being willing to take a chance.- Asking why.- Making your own track, not just following the well trodden path.- Charting your own course and destiny.- Being the person that you were meant to be. I believe that everyone is born unique. But through the years we work very hard to be like everyone else. We conform to societys so-called common-sense. Unfortunately it is just that common sense. That does not mean its good sense." I looked at her, then the stars again.

@dashie--Story's eyes narrowed; she didn't like therapy talk. "Kay. I'm fine now." She said quietly, though she still felt anything but. She turned once more to the gate, and howled, hoping that her mournful cry would be enough to open the gate.

@dashie--Storm looked back, studying Sapphire for a moment before leaping into the gate, fearful of what lay ahead. 'No! You are a fearless , emotionless, fighting machine. You fear nothing, and everything fears you.' Storm growled to herself in her mind.

@ems~Sapphire BladeI jumped through the gate, and looked at the horror. Me and Storm were both covered in armor, and were human. "Storm, we have to stay together, even though I know your more of a lone wolf.

@dashie--"NO!" Storm shouted, trying to shift. She managed to get half-way shifted, but couldn't fully shift, or hold the form. She grunted, letting herself morph back to human, before she growled in frustration and anger. "Fine. Let's go."

@ems~Sapphire"Calm it Storm." I growl, and continue walking alongside her. A demon runs up beside me, and I stab it through the heart. I turn into a dragon, covered in golden armor. "Kill something, then you can return to your wolf form."

@dashie--Storm found an abandoned sword made of some sort of silvery metal, and picked it up, glaring at Sapphire under her golden helmet. A shadowy being approached from behind, and Storm spun the sword behind her back, chopping the figure clean in half, without moving her gaze from the dragon. The creature screeched in agony, and once it was dead, Storm instantly shifted, the gold armor shifting along with her. Now she was clad in golden wolf armor, and her green eyes glowed underneath her brow.

@ems~SapphireI looked at her. "Happy?" I ask, and slash my tail through another shadow creature behind me, focusing on the wolf. My blue eyes glinted as I made the kill.

@ems@dashie sorry I haven't been on. 😋 SO much has happened!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~David tried to calm himself down. Storm and Sapphire had gone into the gate, heedless of his dire warnings. They just didn't know what they where in for. David switched his position, he was getting tense in that bush. His friends hadn't noticed him as he crept away, but he thought he would soon rejoin them, once he had a better plan than the one he had now: Run in and get to goal.

@dashie@sharkout LOL, that's fine. n.n--"... Nothing." Storm growled, her happy mood instantly dissolving. Everything was always wrong for Storm, but she didn't dare say so. Then everyone would go all 'therapist' on her, and she'd have to run away and start again. The vicious cycle would continue.

@ems@dashie David came out of the bushes. "ouch! ... stupid thorns!" He grumbled. "Well, time to stop huddling here in fright and go catch up to my friends." David stopped to examine the gate, seeing how they didn't. It looked normal, despite the very detailed design of skulls and demons, exept, what was that? Yes, it was writing, hurried it seemed. It said one word. "AGONY." The word was written all over the walls. David was disgusted. It was written in blood. David stood for a second, then thought for a second, then was rushing into the gate by the next.

"I've mostly been planning what in the world we are going to do in about exactly three seconds when we meet up with some tough goons, that actually put up a fight."

Try your hardest, and maybe you'll live. If not, it's not like you have anything to regret. You gave it your best shot." She rumbled quietly, shifting her are forward. "Just march onward."

@ems@dashie"Well, it's easier to go on knowing that you are with your friends, and going to do something important. But......I'm.......not.... the best fighting companion you'd want to have. I can try, but it is not really me to savagely fight for my life." David said.
