@athayde You feed creatures to get EC and you can get a small amount if you answer the site trivia correct(about 500+ a day depending on how many people get it right). But the main source of EC comes from feeding.

There are two stores, one is a travel shop where you can buy travels(backgrounds) for your creatures and there is Tims food shoppe where you can put you pets in there to keep at 100 happiness. Both can be found under the "explore" tab

I don't 100% recommend this, but it is possible to trade EC for CC, though it is risky(the person selling the CC may scam you and take your EC and not give you your CC), so make sure they are well known/have done this before(you can kind of tell who is trustworthy by the number of posts/how long they've been on eggcave)

Also, once you've been a member for a while and have some rare or event creatures, you can trade them for CC.

@athayde: Sadly the internet peeps can't be 100% trustworthy, anyone can be faking or whatever and you can be scammed/feeling hurt. So far I haven't seen may scammers or bad users here on eggcave, so you should be fine, however anything could happen.
