Getting Frustrated

My boyfriend and his family are starting to frustrate me a bit. It's really strange, and I'm not sure how to explain it. But I guess I'll do my best.

My boyfriend, his mom and his dad all can't stick with a decision. They make plans, then change them several times without really telling anyone. For example:

First, my boyfriend and I were planning on eating out in his hometown. Then, the plans magically changed to having dinner in my college town. Then when we get back to my dorm he decides that we aren't actually eating out at all, and that he needs to just drop me off and go home because his dad needs to talk to him. We never talked about it or discussed it; just, magically, the plans changed. Now I'm sitting in the dorm confused and a bit angry because there was no communication whatsoever between us and I feel like I missed a memo that I should've received telepathically.

His parents do this too, and it's becoming frustrating.

Not to mention they take forever to do anything. My boyfriend spends 30 minutes in the shower. I spend 15 minutes in the shower and I'm a female. His mother spends hours in the bathroom. It took his mom and his sister THREE HOURS to take the decorations off the Christmas tree. Whenever my boyfriend says he's going to be at my dorm in 45 minutes he usually is late by 15 minutes to an hour, and that's also frustrating. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever; I guess maybe that's what happens when you grow up in the country and not the city?

I don't understand why it's so hard to make a plan and stick with it. It's really starting to get at me and I'm losing my patience.

My mom changes plans without telling me as well! ☹️ She told me she was going to take me to the mall one day, but when I was ready she was asleep. My mom also takes, like, 10 minutes to pick what she wants to wear. And it's not just my mom. It's my dad too!

My grandfather is like that. At least the late thing. He says he'll be at the restaurant in 15 minutes, and then we call him 15 minutes later, and then he says that he'll leave as soon as he finishes watching his golf game. The man is addicted to golf. It's almost creepy.

My mom and sisters are just like that. We'll plan things as a family, and then behind my back they're changed. And they take forever to do things. And when I depend on my mom to drive me somewhere I'm late.

@briseis That's like my cousins. People on my my dad's side are really lazy and my uncle is just giving a bad influence to my cousins. But my aunt is a total @&*$!!! So when we agree on a playdate, they come, like 45 minutes late. We're just sitting at the table, looking at the clock on the microwave and sighing. When we give them a call, like whassup?, they just go like, we're going now, we're going now and I'm like >_< You haven't even walked out the door yet?! Seriously, it drives me crazy. Once, they were THREE HOURS LATE.
