@ems this is Smokeclan's med cat. Windheart~"Featherstar?" I mew puzzled. "I am Somkeclan's medcine cat. I was going to get you some herbs for the scratches and then keep you for observation." I mew looking at the nettles that filled her pelt. "Just let me help. If you don't want to go back to Silverclan than you can live with us. But Featherstar is a very kind leader she won't wipe anyone's memory."Winterpelt~I look to see Windheart talking to an apprentice. "Windheart who is this?" I ask looking at her and seeing the apprentice who saw me and Featherpelt.

@cynder5 Whoops. XD--At the very sight of Winterpelt, Songpaw recoiled. The stink of Smokeclan began to coat her, and Songpaw hissed, alone and afraid. She was no traitor. She'd never leave her clan for Smokeclan... But Featherstar... Her fur bristled. "You." She hissed, turning to Winterpelt. Her lips pulled back into a snarl, though she was terrified. These cats would kill her and take her pelt. Her eyes shifted nervously from cat to cat. The nettles hurt, and Songpaw was far from her camp. /Well, you probably should go to their camp and patch up. They're only showing kindness, after all./ She physically relaxed, but she still appeared extremely nervous.

@emsWindheart~"She's a Silverclan apprentice Winterpelt." I mew. "She's coming back to camp to get some help with all the nettles and scratches on her pelt." I tell him before leading the apprentice towards camp. "Be careful here you don't want to get those deeper into your pelt. Use small steady steps to prevent them from stinging you." I advise.Winterpelt~"Ok." I mew turning and running towards camp to inform Flarestar.

@cynder5--Songpaw nodded, and limped carefully forward, swearing with every step. /OH COME ON!/ She thought bitterly. Just peachy. Stinging nettles... So much fun. Not.

@emsWindheart~"Here we are." I mew leading the apprentice into our camp. The queens had dissapeared in the nursey woven into our camp wall. The elders had walked up and sat around the nursery to protect them. "This way." I say leading her into a smaller den at the back of the camp. "Sit down there." I mew showing her a small nest near my herb store.Featherstar~"Songpaw." I mew looking for the apprentice. "Somgpaw where are you?" I yowl out hten realize she had crossed the border. "Well if that is how Flaretail want's to play then so be it." I mew leaping over hte border and following her scent.

@cynder5 Flaretail? XD--Songpaw obeyed. "Thanks." She mewed quietly. She had a bad feeling in her gut, but she tried to ignore it. Her eyes teared up again, but not wanting to appear weak, she sucked in a breath and felt the tears go away. Her wounds stung, but that wasn't why Songpaw was scared. No, she knew Featherstar. And Featherstar hated traitors. /You're not a traitor for accepting help./ She told herself, but the apprentice had a feeling the her clanmates wouldn't feel exactly the same way.

@jazzyleia @ems his warrior name. Featherstar dose'nt know that he is leader now. Windheart~I start to pull nettles from the apprentices fur. "So what's your name?" I ask then call t Moonpaw so she can come and get the nettles out while I make a poltice.

@cynder5 Oh.--"I'm Songpaw." Songpaw mewed quietly, watching the medicine cat prepare the salve. The burning became worse and worse for an odd reason. /Am I allergic...?/ Songpaw wondered.

@emsWindheart~"Here we go." I mew setting the poltice down on a leaf and pulling all the nettles out of Songpaw's fur. Once all were out I start applying the poltice.

@cynder5 Featherstar should show up. 😋~Songpaw felt the burning slowly subside, and sighed with relief. "Thank you." She murmured, smiling. finally, the searing burning was gone. Songpaw could go home and relax again.

@ems Sure thing.Windheart~"Yes." I mew distracdley a strange scent had wafted up on the air. "Featherstar." I mummer quietly so Songpaw would'nt hear. I run out of hte den and wait in hte clearing.Featherstar~I stalk into the clearing. "Flaretail." I mew looking at him."Flarestar." He corrects me. "Featherepelt.""Featherstar." I mew viciously. "I believe you have one of my apprentices with you." I hiss looking for Songpaw. I see Winterpelt and shoot a cold glare at him before he turns and nudges Windheart. I strain to pick up what he tells the medcine cat.Windheart~I stand up and walk over to my den. "Songpaw." I mew "Featherstar has come to get you." I mew to her as Featherstar stands in the clearing.

@cynder5 Yay. 😸--Songpaw nuzzled the medicine cat. "I owe you one. Thank you so much." She mewed happily before bounding over to Featherstar. "Come on Featherstar, it's okay. They were just helping me." She mewed quietly, trying to tug her leader away from Flarestar.Littlecloud scampered around camp, her tail puffing out in her frantic search. "FEATHERSTAR?! SONGPAW?!" She yowled, bounding out of camp, but she was too panicked to notice the scent trails.

@emsFeatherstar~I nod but look around at the cats gathered. Winterpelt comes up first. "I will escort you out of our territory." He mews leading me and Songpaw out of the camp and towards the mound. /I don't care how you feel Featherstar. I will love you always.\ He thought and I pciked it up.

@cynder5--Finally, the new deputy picked up the others' scents, and rushed to the border. "Featherstar!" She yowled.Songpaw sensed the tension in the air, and sighed quietly, trailing along behind the other tow cats.

@cynder5 Kay bai. 😸--Songpaw stiffened as Winterpelt hissed. "I'm sorry... This is all my fault." Big fat tears welled in her eyes; it was bad enough that Songpaw thought her power was completely useless, but she had ruined Featherstar's relationship. Sure, it was against the rules but... Songpaw bolted for camp, crumbling like a cookie as she rushed into the apprentices' den and bumping into Stormpaw.Littlecloud glared at Winterpelt. "And if you ever make Songpaw cry again, watch out, buster." She hissed in return, turning away from the border and stalking off.Stormpaw opened her mouth to snarl at Songpaw for bumping her awake, but saw with a frown that Songpaw was crying, mewling quietly like a kit. "Who. Made. You. Cry?" She asked, unable to keep the note of anger from her tone."Stormpaw, it's more complicated than that." Songpaw cried, sniffling. "My power sucks, but I can't tell you what the other part is... Featherstar would kill me if I did." Songpaw wanted to wail, but kept her trap shut. Better to be quiet than noticed by everyone. "Nonsense. Tell me." Stormpaw mewed, laying next to her clanmate. "Well..." Songpaw whispered the situation into Stormpaw's ear."But I swear by Starclan's name, if you tell anyone, I may have to personally kill you." Songpaw warned, still teary-eyed. Stormpaw nodded, and gave her word not to say anything. "Songpaw, it's not your fault. It was against the rules. And if they want to be cold about it, too bad." Stormpaw meowed, nuzzling Songpaw encouragingly. "Now, let's get a nap in before dusk so we won't be tired on patrol." Songpaw nodded, and the two apprentices fell asleep together, huddling for warmth.

@ems NIGHT TIMEFeatherstar~I wait until silence befalls the camp then creep out of my den. I scan the surrounding and see Fireclaw on guard duty as requested. I slip over to her nodding before sliping into the river that surrounds the front of our camp. I follow the river to the edge of my territory catching a glimpse of white fur in the tres at the ohter side of the border. Winterpelt was coming. He landed a few mouse lengths away from where the river bent towards mountains. I crawl out of the river and shake my pelt out. I obund over to him and press my muzzle into his shoulder. I look over to where my camp lay shadowed by the night sky. I turn and bound further fom it. I knew Littlecloud would make an even better leader than me. Winterpelt follows me as we leave the Clan territory's far behind. I stop on a small ridge and gaze down. Putting all else behind me I bound down the hill and into the shelter fo trees.Fireclaw~I watch Featherstar leave camp knowing she would not return. I turn having ben given orders from her to make sure Songpaw and Stormpaw don't tell anyone. I had heard Songpaw telling Stormpaw what had happened and was determined to make sure they told no one.

@cynder5 No, I mean Stormpaw Songpaw and Littlecloud never went on their partrol. ><--Stormpaw stretched and shook Songpaw awake. "Wha...?" Songpaw mewed groggily. "Come on. You know what's better than going for a walk during the day?" Stormpaw whispered. "A walk a night?" Songpaw replied quietly, stretching and padding out of the den. "No, this way!" Stormpaw hissed, dragging the other apprentice back into the den. "Follow me."

@ems ok but know Featherstar and Winterpelt are far off. And since Featherstar traveled by water her scent was not left. Can Stormpaw be Fireclaw's apprentice?Fireclaw~I twitch my ears at the sound of Stormpaw and Songpaw's voices. "Come on out girls." I mew to them without looking behind me. "You can us the tunel to leave camp on a walk as long as you're back before the Dawn Patrol leaves." I mew.

@cynder5 Sure, but only if Littlecloud can be Songpaw's mentor. xD And ok, I wasn't planning to go find her anyways.--Stormpaw drifted out of the den, Songpaw at her heels, and although she was still sleepy, she managed a devious grin. "Maybe. Naw, I'm pulling your tail. We'll be back long before dawn." She slunk out of camp, a slight bounce to her step. Songpaw scampered after her.

@ems of course.Fireclaw~I give the apprentices an approving nod seeing them bound out of camp. I look out across the sky wondering where my sister was now.Flarestar~I slip out of camp past Firestorm on watch and walk over to the border. Winterpelt was missing and his scent was fresh near the tree copse. I follow it until it disapears. I look around wondering where my deputy had dissapeared to.

@cynder5--Once out of camp, the two apprentices played like kits, dashing about and playing childish games along the border. Of course, they had planned on getting a long-overdue chat, but the idea was lost in their wild imaginations. They squealed in delight, nearly crossing the border a few times.

@emsFlarestar~I hear squealing near the border and turn to see two apprentices. ONe was in my camp not to long ago. Her name was Songpaw. I bound over to htem as they land near the border. "Get back on your own territory." I hiss to them my tail bushed out to look like a giant flicker of fire.

@cynder5--Songpaw stopped in her tracks, and backed away slowly. /Oh no... Not another mean cat./ She thought sadly, and flashes of everything she'd ruined spun through her mind, and guilt rushed in, and she crouched low, crumbling under the leader's gaze. "Sorry...." She mewed, and bolted away.Now Stormpaw wasn't as upset, but her face contorted with rage as Songpaw ran off. "Watch it buddy. That one's sensitive. And if you upset her again, your face won't be your ugliest feature anymore." She hissed.

@cynder5--"Oh yeah?" Stormpaw mewed, her voice squeaking. A wall of fire blazed behind her. "Why don't you go pick on someone your own size; you big fat BULLY!" She stepped one paw over the border line. "Stay on your side of the border." She mimicked mockingly, smoke rising from her tail as she fumed with anger."I don't care, Flarestar." She sneered, "I bet you wouldn't dare to lay a paw on me. I bet you're scared. I bet you like hearing us cry. I bet you like our pain. And our grief. And I bet you wish that you could make us all hurt, and that you caused all our troubles. I bet you brag about how you've made us hurt. I bet you brag about all the cats you've killed in battles. But I'd never be proud of that. I'd never be proud of murder. You know what I think you are? A tyrant. A bully. A bad, bad tom. And I think you now it." Her voice rang out, green eyes smoldering with hate.--Songpaw sat in a bush. "I'm sorry..." She cried. /Oh, I'll never be a good warrior. I can't even accidentally step over the border without feeling terrible." She sniffled. "I'm too soft."--Littlecloud woke in the warriors' den, hearing a yowl in the distance, sure that it was too quiet for even Fireclaw to hear. She padded over to Fireclaw after looking into the apprentices' den, seeing that both Songpaw and Stormpaw were missing. "Fireclaw, where are Stormpaw and Sngpaw?" She asked worriedly. Littlecloud knew for a fact that Stormpaw was one of the most troublesome apprentices in the whole clan, and the deputy didn't like the fact that she was missing. With Songpaw.

@emsFlarestar~"Oh yes. You are very right. But there is more to me than just that. My little friend." I mew darkly as the shadows around me errupt into life and start to swirl around Stormpaw. "Let's see how well you can last when you're surrounded by a darkness not even fire can break." I yowl.Fireclaw~"They went out into the forest." I mew then jump back as I see a wave of shadows rise up on the horizon. I leap up and start sprinting towards them my paws setting up sparks of fire as I ran. I see Flarestar torturing Stormpaw and leap at him my claws out and my pelt lieterally on fire. I push him into the ground and sink my claws into his pelt.Starpelt~I hear Fireclaw talking to Littlecloud then run off. I look out to see shadows in the distance. I run to Featherstar's den and see blackness. I run up to Littlecloud. "Have you seen Featherstar?" I mew.

@cynder5~"No." Littlecloud answered weakly, worry in her worn expression, "But I have to find Songpaw." Her voice cracked, and she bounded off into the forest.--"NO!" Stormpaw hissed, barreling into Fireclaw and pushing her away before leaping at Flarestar. "He's mine." Flames encircled the leader and apprentice.--Songpaw heard a commotion. "No.... STORMPAW!" She yowled, bolting back the way she'd come.
