Has anyone else read the Xanth books?

Xanth is a magic land of magic and puns. Oh so many puns 😃
Just a few examples: Dandelion. Holey Cow. Catapult. Dragonfly.

I liked the books but the author let his sexism show through and later in the books it was rampant and the stories became not worth it☹️
