They kinda already have this, its called "Sims social". And with the Sims 3 Showtime(I think) you can connect with friends, from what I read. Not sure how it works as I don't have it nor do I have friends who play the Sims.

But I think I know what you mean, like the Sims PC game, but on a webpage.

You mean The Sims Social on Facebook?

And yeah- like The Sims game but a mmorpg kind of thing with good graphics and 3D animation.
