-Sends professor document with paper attached

*several hours later, early in the morning, realizes paper wasn't actually attached*

D'oh.

Wow, hopefully he didn't already read it before I realized my mistake. I feel dumb. xD

Anyone else ever have an academic "duuuur" moment?

@metaphor

Heehee! Definitely an oops moment! XD

Mine was more of a stupid mistake. Backstory... I taught myself the Russian alphabet ten years ago, so by the time I began my Russian major, I knew it really well. Then, two years ago, I studied in Russia. We were doing a vocabulary exercise in the form of a crossword puzzle. One of the clue answers started with an R. Which in Russian is written as a P. I wasn't concentrating really hard, so I ended up writing the P as R. It doesn't sound so bad, but I was embarrassed anyway. 😋

Another time I wanted to say 'credit card' in Russian, but I misplaced the stress and ended up saying 'credit potato'.
