I had the regional competition in Odyssey of the Mind yesterday. We got 3rd place. Now you might be thinking, "Wow, great job!" Not! 3rd place doesn't make it to States. Only if first or second place drops out. (Yeah right, like they're going to do that) We missed 2nd place by FOUR points! xC

You're probably thinking, "Well you still get that medal, and it's wonderful to be in third place, still!" Not if all the other teams from your school ranked higher than you. Some younger. Plus, we worked since October - 5 months - on this skit.

Wow... I probably won't get a medal in any intelligent competition so got the 3rd place is so impressive for me...

You don't have to worry about it.

I't would have been worse if you get the 2nd place because you'll be mooore angry because you were so close to the first place...
