School Mystery - need HELP

Well, apparently someone broke the whiteboard duster.

STORY:
My friend Rachel was going to clean the whiteboard when the soft part of the duster fell out. Some people saw it, but some people says it was either my friends Lavonne or Genevieve. My teacher, Mr Shazli, was told that Mdm Siti (the provider of the teacher stationaries) was super angry because the duster was new. And now everyone's angry.

Help me solve this mystery?

SUSPECTS:
-Genevieve (has not cleaned the board once - yet everyone blames her)
-Lavonne (cleaned the board a few days back, might have broke it)
-Rachel (going to clean the board, says she did not break it)

WITNESSES:
-A few people in my class

@sarahzafirah Just tell your teacher that you saw it fall out when Rachel picked it up, and it was no one's fault, just an accident.

@sarahzafirah Maybe Genevieve was the one who broke the duster. She hasn't cleaned the board once so she wouldn't be an obvious suspect. To some people.... I think she might've stayed late, lock picked the door with something, broke the duster, got out and locked it again with the same thing.

@izzfred Hmm... possible, but teachers and prefects are always monitoring the classes. It could be possible since you just have to get permission to take something from class from a teacher.

@cotton I also think it was an accident, but my teacher said someone must have broke it or something. :/

@sarahzafirah yeah XD Maybe when one of your friends was cleaning the board the unknowingly bumped the duster and it broke? :/
