How long does it usually take a pet to advance stages? I mean with other people helping it.

Welcome to egg cave! On the side panel there is a, "Creature Listing", click that and it takes you to all your eggs. Click the link just above the top of the list that says, "Show how long until next evolution".

That gives you an idea of how many friends you need to make to get them to evolve. Not too hard if you join a group because they just feed each others eggs.

There is also the, "Click exchange" at Egg Cavern. It's an off shoot of this site.

Hope that helps. Not really? haha. Over a month if you make friends and don't have a large cove.
