Is there a way to see what the species looked like when they're matured (level 2000+) BEFORE stealing/adopting them?

@didigao

Go to the Archives, you can see the stages there.

Level 2000+ just means you don't have to feed them anymore. For the stages of a critter, you can look in the Archives, or at eggcavern.net and go to the Cavedex. And most of the time, like for the Rousel, Ian will update his Cove to be the latest creature.

@didigao Check the Archives by hovering your mouse over 'explore' and clicking 'The Archives' - eggcave.com/archives

Some creatures don't have their full evolutions because the SAR Center (Science and Research Center - again, hover your mouse over 'explore' and click 'SAR Center) hasn't discovered them yet. (i.e. Ian has been too lazy to update the archives, or he wants to keep it a secret. 😋)

Next time, try looking in the Help & FAQ page (http://eggcave.com/explore/faq). The answer to your question is in the 'Archives' section. 😉

A creature looks the same when matured. In fact, I've seen many eggs that are leval 2,000+ I'm not quite sure what your asking.
Level 2,000 means you don't have to feed them anymore and doesn't at all affect the appearance of the creature.
