@linpug No need to help, I've developed it already =P

I have the most important parts of his appearance and personality, I just have to write it down 😉

Personality: Polite, well-raised, will butt in a conversation only if he has something to say, a stand-in-the-corner-and-listen type of guy, calculative, full control over his emotions, over his reflexes, fights well enough to defend himself. Only thing he lacks control in - his powers and it drives him crazy =P Calm, kind, composed.

Appearance: Dirty blonde hair in a neat short cut, swept on the left side of his head. Dark navy blue eyes that look faded - sort of very dark gray and navy blue mixed together. Dark eyes in general xD With a lighter rimmed pupil. Fair skin, tall and lean body but lacking any visible muscles. Often wears suits or expensive clothes so he stands out from the crowd in the bar. 😋

1. Why is your sister re-writing it? Is there something wrong with this version?

2. What kind of changes? XP Will it affect powers, certain events or character age, personalities, etc.?

@linpug Can't we participate in the forming of the plot? It would be better if we get a say in this in case somebody dislikes something? And in general the lot of us are pretty creative ^^ I know Hedwig and Ems are. I can offer some help too. Won't you notify us of the change before you make it?

Well, there are many unanswered questions to the plot, so she rewrote it with more detail. 😊
It may affect certain affects, but it won't affect the character at all.

To answer some questions:

The main reason for the changes, as Linpug mentioned, is to clear things up. If normal DreamWalkers cannot control dreams, how does one become a NightMare in the first place? How does one become trapped in a dream, and how do they die?

I had a lot of fun roleplaying in the original one, so I wanted to join this. I admit that I'm quite picky with roleplays, so I thought of ways to improve it. ^^

The new roleplay will cover not only these unanswered questions, but it will be more thorough in general. In addition, it will be more literate.

If anyone has any suggestions or concerns when the new roleplay is out, of course you can post them. 😊 Anyone can have a say in any roleplay, as long as you speak up!

If you'd like to know more about the changes, Linpug can PM you, but I'll also be happy to answer questions.

I'm sorry for saying this, I'm so so sorry, but this sentence right here. This one: "I wanted to join this anyways, but first, I decided it needed to be re-written."
It sounds... terrible to me. Not what you're intending but what you said. Just popping in *aherm*without owning the RP*aherm* and deciding to alter some things because it suited you. It sounds, and seems, like we have no say in what happens, considering that we've been the core of this new RP since day one.

It's not the changes. Really, I like them. But had Linpug not mailed them to me, it's like you would've just snapped a finger and changed it without notifying anybody about them, except for the mild information 'There's an improvement.'

Is there going to be a new topic? New information? Anything else other than the NightMare and DreamWalker stuff I got mailed? Any change to the setting? Any change to the disease? The time that the infected have to die?

And, last but not least, it's the idea itself what counts. Respect it. Don't judge it as 'would-be-potentially-good' or 'lacking'.
I do believe and I will always believe that this RP belongs to Wolfmilk and Wolfmilk only. It isn't anybody's RP now that she's off. You have a right to alter it, true. But we do as well. 😊

So how about this: first we discuss the new info and then we alter the RP? Like I said, the lot of us are pretty creative. ^^

And as a conclusion - I am an Aries and a very terribly horribly short-tempered one. XD Sorry if I insulted you. 😋

Wait, what's going on? o.o Why is the RP being rewritten? It seemed perfectly fine to start with... It was a bit vague but I think we all get it. What sort of changes are being made? And why is it being changed in the first place??? I'm not trying to cause anyone to become angry, I'm just curious.

To clear things up, I don't mean for it to seem like I'm controlling the roleplay. However, in my mind, anyone should be able to throw in their ideas in order to make a creation better, as long as the author doesn't oppose. I'm not forcing these changes on the roleplay at all; if you disagree with something, I'm sure Linpug will consider altering some parts. And if you have your own ideas, by all means, let her know! ^^

When I do create roleplays, I try to stress that anyone can throw in suggestions to make it better, so the last thing I want is for you guys to feel like you have no say in it due to something I said - if this is how I came off, I apologize.

If anything, I hope these changes let all of you know that you can suggest things as well. And fortunately, Linpug just told me that she wants everyone to feel like they have a voice. :]

I know that Linpug has notified everyone on the roleplay topic and will be happy to PM anyone about these changes who would like to know more, so I didn't think it was necessary for me to provide this information as well unless someone asked - after all, I'm simply answering questions here. (: And on that note, I can definitely answer yours; though I'd love to post here so everyone can see, due to lack of space, I'll PM you. I'll gladly answer any question, but I think Linpug will be taking care of most of them. ^^

I know that Wolfmilk was the creator of this roleplay, but she did give it to me. xP It's like how all trades are final. Once you receive a creature, it doesn't belong to the previous person anymore, and you are free to change its name and profile.

Of course the roleplay wasn't perfect, and could use some more explanation. There's nothing wrong with pointing this out. Ladybugheart wanted to make it better, so I decided that it would be a good opportunity to improve it. ;D Even though she isn't the owner of this roleplay, this doesn't mean she can't alter anything. ^^ And it's not like this is new to me; I did ask her and knew she was altering it. 😸

I don't mean for it to seem like you don't have a say, in fact, I would like for everyone to have a say, because I want this roleplay to be enjoyable. 😸 However, this does include Ladybugheart, and there's really nothing wrong with her rewriting it.

Though she was the one who did this, I am the owner of the roleplay. She was just answering a question with her post, not explaining the changes. I've notified everyone of the changes anyway, so there's no reason for her to do that. ^^ No, the Dreamwalker disease is just more detailed, and the previous events aren't changed. 😸

Linpug actually requested that I helped re-create it quite some time ago, around the time the new roleplay was first created, after I suggested a few changes. 😉 Of course, Linpug went over them herself. It's not that I believed this roleplay was inadequate as it was; in fact, as someone who is very picky, I really did like it. My only intention was to help make it even better. (: I guess you could think of the changes as suggestions that Linpug approved of.

And to address your suggestion, of course. If you guys have anything you'd like to alter, I'm sure Linpug would like to hear. In fact, it was the plan all along to allow others to make changes. ^^

I did make sure to mention that anyone with suggestions should feel free to post them and that everyone can have a say in this, but I guess I should have been more clear. xP

I can see why you might not like what I posted, and now that I re-read it, I do agree that it was poorly phrased. Thank you again for letting me know how it seems, as I definitely do not want others to misunderstand. I'll edit these parts out. 😊

Don't compare it to the trade! Dx Please don't compare it to a trade... A creature trade is very very... very different. You receive a creature you can alter, true. But there are a dozen if not a hundred other creature JUST like it. This roleplay here, however, is one of a kind and always will be. I appreciate you and Ladybugheart's efforts and I believe that it's paying off to alter it a little since things are better explained. But don't, please don't compare it to a trade.

Truth be told I like the new plot as well. I know you did a great job but just saying that you wanted it to be better explained is enough for me. Neither had to go as far as to point out the imperfections or compare it to something completely different.

You both liked the roleplay, right?

Respect it even with it's imperfections. Perfection is boring anyway xD

I don't see what's wrong with this. If you compare something to something else, it doesn't mean they share everything in common.

I didn't say that they were completely the same. I also wasn't comparing the number of this roleplay to the number of a certain creature. I specifically compared it to "how all trades are final," not trading in general. My comparison stopped at saying that Wolfmilk gave the roleplay to me, and that I can alter some things.

When Ladybugheart pointed out some unanswered questions, she was going over some of the specific things the new roleplay will cover, not pointing out "imperfections." I don't really think anyone has been doing this.

I think I'll make the new rolplay soon 😊 Then we can start roleplaying. 😉
