Who else here would like to recruit friends/family to the egg-hatching ways by sending them an egg (from inventory) via email/facebook/pinterest/whatever??
We could take full responsibility for the creature until they Accept it by creating an account....
This would expand the site, expand the awareness, and expand the fun!!

@shegolove I honestly have no idea how this would work and how it would be coded.

You can't "send" eggs - you can only trade them at the moment. And they're not in your inventory. 😉

Referrals would be a good substitute for this, though.

Well, it would be like the html click-code, but would be a trade request to an un-made account. Once the account is made, the trade goes through. The return trade could be either a random egg, or like 15EC, or potentially even just a referral point on the sender's profile; an accolade for bragging rights....

It's entirely possible, it's just a matter of taking the time to write the code. 😊

@shegolove Sitting on the fence with this; I know it's possible but I don't know if it would result in a lot of spam (in a quest for loads of referral points). IDK, there's something I'm not sure about here and whenever I rethink it, it seems okay. X3

Opinions? Random pings; huge apologies in advance.

@shegolove I don't know what you mean by " recruit friends/family to the egg-hatching ways" Perhaps you can rephrase it?

@linpug Sorry, it's random, I know.
It would just be an easy way to broaden membership to people who current users already know. Personal/real-life knowledge of someone makes a person that much more likely to view/click/feed their creatures. This would make the views/clicks/feeds also mean something to the new user, as they would also have an egg/creature to raise.

@karamel I can't say it won't result in spam, at least at first. But if the recipient declines to make an account the egg/creature could stay with the sender. Maybe build in a pre-send check to make sure the potential new user hasn't already been invited?

@shegolove
To be sincere, I don't know what to think about. Sorry, but I'm mostly neutral to this. xD

@linpug 😊 It's a psychology thing. People are more likely to help out people they know (in order to avoid feeling judged for not helping), and also more likely to give if they're getting something in return, especially if they've already received. It's why everyone returns the feeding when people feed their creatures: they feel they owe it.
