EC to CC converter.

The title says it all, I think should be 5,000-7,500 EC for 1 CC.
The real price is closer to 10,000 for 1 though XD

Sorry but no.

If we were able to convert a set amount of EC to CC, then no one would ever buy CC again, leaving the site in a bad situation.
The site might have to get shut down because it's not making enough money to be up and running.
It costs a lot of money to run a website.
If I remember correctly, a while back Ian said it costs him 10,000$+ a year to have Eggcave up and running. And considering how far EggCave has come, I'm sure it costs him more now.

It would also be unfair to everyone who has bought CC in the past. Because they would feel like they "wasted" money.

I think it would just cause so many issues, potentially cause EggCave to be shut down due to lack of incoming funds, etc.

because lots of people dont have time to feed, and are low on ec
but have cc

I think that'd be quite pointless.

EC to CC = bad idea for all the reasons @shelby said

And the other way around? T hings would be too easy and people with money to spend on here would be at an advantage.

Not to mention, it's quite easy if you have CC to find someone willing to pay EC for it. 😉

I actually believe Ian had said he had considered this, but it would be difficult and unfair to users who can't buy CC? I may be remembering incorrectly. I'm not sure.

I think it might be unfair to those who can't buy CC though.

@dv55555 What's the point? You can just set up a trade in the trading forum. There are many users willing to exchange for a little CC. When trading, everybody is happy. It's better than a converter. Where does CC go after you buy something with it? Coding, not some will-be happy person's inventory. I personally don't see any point in the converter.

@dv55555 Bad idea, it could get eggcave shut down, because advertisements and CC are the only things that provide money for the site. CC doesn't cost that much ($5 for 500 CC).

Wait, actually, a CC convertor to EC could be good. Those who want a cave monthly, but dont have time, but have money could convert CC to EC.

But the opposite is the worst side. CC would be very common, and useless then

I reeeaaalllyyy wish they had something like that, but it defeats the purpose of CC, the creators need money for this 😉 to keep it up and running.
