@dv55555 - Oh my goodness am I going to get suspended because I'm using too much violence? Oh shoot! Argh...am I really using too much? I'm sorry but I have to find a way to make choices 'wrong', which means death. I'm so sorry. I'll try and be on the easy side for this killing stuff.

Sierra stamped her foot. "You can't weasel your way out of this, you know."

The boy smiled. "Yes I can, and, my name's not you. Call me Ulric." The husky smile. Again.

"I'll fight you. It's on. Now." Sierra snarled.

Ulric smiled the sly smile again, "May I introduce you to my friend?"

Sorry! Wrong choice! (Is that a little less violence? I'm so sorry)

Sierra smiled lightly, tilting her head to one side. "No thanks. I better go."

The boy trailed behind her. "There's something I like about you." He lilted.

Sierra sent him a disdainful glance. "Bug off." She demanded.

He smiled. "Exactly. You're stubborn. I like that. By the way, my name's Ulric, and you're gonna meet my friend." He grinned. Ulric skipped ahead of Sierra and looked her in the eyes. "Please? Can I be your ally?"

What should Sierra say?

A) Yes

Sierra looked at Ulric, and felt something soften inside her. "OK. But i get to meet your friend."

Ulric smirked. "You'll like her...uh...what's your name?"

"Sierra."

"Well, you'll like Lazula. I promise."

At that moment, a screech came from above. A giant black dragon landed neatly on the cliff behind Ulric. Ulric gazed fondly at the beast, then turned to Sierra. "Sierra, Lazula. Lazula, Sierra. Be nice."

Sierra laughed. "Well, Ulric, should be camp out here?"

Ulric turned, and shrugged. "Dunno. Your choice.

You are now presented with a choice

A) Camp here

B) Fly away on Lazula

Sierra smiled. "Can we try out Lazula? Please?"

Ulric smiled. "Unless your scared."

Sierra bit into the flesh. "This is good, where did you get your bow?"

The wind rustled his dark hair as Lazula sped through the air. Ulric settled back lazily against the beast's neck, peeling th bark off of oak twigs hardened with fire to make arrow shafts. "My dad," He drawled. "Well," He shifted into sitting position. "It's your turn," He turned to the stars twinkling in the night sky, "What's your past? Who are you? Why were you at Cliff Shipwreck?"

Sierra bit the soft pad of her lip.

What should she do?

A) Dismiss the question

B) Answer the question

Ulric tilted his head.

Sierra grinned, then playfully added, "But I'll only tell you the rest if you give me your rabbit leg."

Ulric willingly handed over the meat, and Sierra really wondered whether she should tell this stranger the truth of her life.

Sierra swallowed her food, then began her story.

"I began as an orphan. My mistress recognized my magical skills and taught me the art. Later, she died, and was replaced by a much meaner woman. I ran, and stayed in the woods for days. Eventually, I was jailed for stealing cattle to eat. Of course, I escaped, and started a new life. Recently, I received news from a long lost sister in Forthwind's Empire. I trusted an old hag to take me there, but instead she brought me here and sent wild dogs to kill me so she could salvage all she had, but I'm still trying to get to Forthwind's Empire."

Ulric smirked, and Sierra added, "Your turn. What's your history?"

Ulric rolled his eyes. "Sure, I'll tell you," He drawled, "After we land, it's getting dark. Do you want to fly overnight to River Rarity or land in Aluric? Or, we could fly an extra hour and stay in Gloom, but Fury's Depth is closest to your destination."

You are now presented with a choice.

A) Aluric (Land now)

B) River Rarity (Fly overnight and land in the morning)

C) Gloom (Fly an extra hour)

Ulric carefully teetered out onto Lazula's neck, seating himself behind her ears, where a tiny saddle was strapped, old leather worn soft and smooth. Ulric barely pulled on the reins, and Lazula took a stomach hurling dip toward the ground.

A few throw up bags and a landing later, Ulric and Sierra trudged into the large city, for Lazula had flown around and located a cave she was to sleep in.

Ulric payed a couple silver coins for a stay at a grubby hotel, and before they turned in for the night, they each sat on their beds, facing each other, and Ulric began his story, "As a young child," He abruptly stopped. "You hear that?"

Sierra's heart skipped. She had. Suddenly, a soldier burst through the door. "There be a flamebreather in the cliffs. Y'all help us get rid a' 'er?"

Ulric jumped up. "Lazula!"

The soldier shouldered his way in. "You know that there dragon? The black 'un?" Ulric nodded. "So why didn't y'all register 'er? Y'all shoulda, 'cause now we gotta kill her and jail y'all."

Wrong choice! Pick again!
